Are you feeling overwhelmed as your family navigates the chaos of crisis stabilization, residential treatment, or intensive outpatient care? I specialize in supporting individuals and families who are coming from—or preparing to transition to—higher levels of care. Whether your loved one is returning home from a treatment center or you're facing the possibility of a higher level of support, I help families rebuild trust, restore communication, and make sense of what’s happened. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, my approach is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and grounded in compassion. I offer a safe space for individuals to heal, understand their story, and decide how they want to move forward. I help caregivers make space for their own pain while staying steady and supportive in the face of family struggles. This work is hard—and you don’t have to do it alone. I’m not here to sugarcoat the process—but I do believe in healing, resilience, and the power of showing up differently. If your family is navigating a major transition or still feeling the aftershocks of trauma, you don’t have to do it alone. Let’s work together to create a path forward.

Working in metal health for over a decade, I realized I would ask more questions about the person than I was trained to know what to do. I knew I wanted to help people more and decided to further my education to be able to do that. Clients need to feel heard and understood. I would initially ask how they would like to feel heard and understood. I would naturally reflect back on what clients have stated to ensure I heard their words correctly. I would also ask if I understood their words correctly to confirm. Working together is collaborative. Building trust looks like me asking questions to see the client’s experience and what support looks like to them. It is listening to their stories and hearing what the client would like to work on as far as goals and supporting them to do so.

Have you ever felt that life has to be okay all the time? Change is a normal part of life that we do not always know how to navigate. Therapy can be the safe space needed to start your journey towards processing these emotions and exploring your personal goals. My goal as a therapist is to provide a non-judgmental environment where my clients feel heard. I use an integrated approach to help my clients explore their personal needs and goals. I have experience working with individuals who are walking through different life transitions. Life has its ups and downs but you do not have to go through it alone. I am here to help you find the tools and support needed along the way.
Reaching out for help is often the most difficult step. We may think “Why wasn’t I strong enough to deal with this on my own?” or “What is wrong with me?”. We may even downplay our experiences, thinking “There are others who have it worse” or “I’m just being dramatic.” It’s okay to have these thoughts, and it’s okay to realize that we can’t do it all on our own. As your therapist, I am here to support you in all aspects of the human experience – especially the ones that make us question ourselves. Whether it be feelings of shame, grief, inadequacy, or something else that is challenging to name, I will be there to guide you gently through. I utilize empathy, compassion, and gentle curiosity in the therapy room. As a collaborator in your process, I will help you to explore and discover while always allowing you to set the pace for your own journey. As a companion, I will be by your side when difficult emotions arise – guiding you through coping mechanisms, providing resources, and strengthening support systems. I believe that everyone has within themselves exactly what they need to live their most satisfying life. My role is to help you uncover that which is already within. In this way, I utilize a Solution-Focused approach to highlight strengths and identify small steps towards healing and change. I also integrate techniques from Emotionally Focused Therapy, CBT, DBT, and IFS in order to tailor therapy specifically to each person’s needs. As a Latina and descendent of immigrants myself, I am passionate about intergenerational healing and breaking cycles. I take an inclusive approach to therapy, taking into account social, political, cultural, and economic contexts when considering family stories and histories. I specialize in working with individuals, families, and couples navigating the stressors associated with living in different cultures and mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, and trauma. Reaching out for help is an act of courage. I am glad you are here.
I work with young adults navigating anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, relationship issues, boundary issues, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. I also specialize in postpartum/perinatal issues and supporting survivors of narcissistic abuse. My goal is to help you reconnect with your authentic self, strengthen your mind-body connection, and create a life aligned with your values. I believe you are the expert of your life, and therapy is a space to grow and deepen your self-exploration. My style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I act as a supportive guide using somatic therapy, mindfulness, ACT (values-based therapy), and family systems work. I don’t give quick advice—instead, we slow down and listen to your inner wisdom, building skills to support clarity, calm, and emotional resilience.
My practice office is a calm space where you can slow down, breathe, and begin making sense of what you’ve been carrying. Life can feel heavy at times, and you don’t have to go through it alone. I offer trauma-informed therapy for teens, young adults, and women navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, life transitions, and relationship challenges. For those seeking deeper support, we can explore whole-person care that considers spirit, mind, body, and daily life. This may include exploring nutrition, supplements, supportive habits, movement like yoga, and, if desired, Christian-informed therapy as part of your healing process. I also offer parent coaching as a collaborative process to strengthen communication, reduce stress at home, and support healthier family relationships through real-life strategies. If you feel ready, I would be honored to connect with you and explore what support might look like.
For as long as I can remember, I have been intrinsically motivated to help people understand themselves and how they interact with one another. I am inspired to do meaningful work in my life and human behavior and relationships have been at the forefront of that passion. I appreciate the uniqueness of each person. Therapist-client fit is essential for meaningful therapy and I encourage transparency and honest feedback and use a relational approach to develop trust. I draw from several therapeutic approaches to find what is most helpful for you. I create a safe space where you don’t feel judged and collaborate with you on your goals. I validate you and demonstrate a genuine understanding of your needs. I am sensitive to your cultural background.

Hi, I'm Jennifer. I help my clients feel like themselves again after trauma, specifically sexual trauma or relationship violence. You’ve tried to get past it, forget about it, told yourself it “wasn’t a big deal”, but you’re in pain. Maybe you notice feeling scared and mistrusting of others, having mood swings, or feeling down about yourself. Trauma can take many different forms, so often we don’t realize what we’ve gone through until we unpack it with someone safe. I can be that person for you.

I am an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I completed my Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Mount Saint Mary’s University and earned my Masters of Science in Nursing at Cal State Long Beach. Prior to my career as a nurse practitioner I worked in emergency nursing and inpatient psychiatric settings. Prior to my nursing career I served in the US Army as a medic and completed my enlistment as a Sergeant. I am a married mother of twins and my interests include learning to play the drums and guitar, going to the gym and astrology. I am inspired to work in mental health as I believe wellness is multifactorial. The state of our mental health is what can influence our ability to function in our day to day. People of all walks of life, including myself, have either experienced a need for mental health care or loved someone who has. I am thrilled to provide care in a time where mental health is becoming less stigmatized. It is extremely rewarding to witness what a profound impact high quality mental health care can provide. I tailor my approach and treatment plan to align with preferences and values through thorough assessment and consideration. I ask questions and I encourage my clients to do the same. Care should be collaborative and that includes hearing and respecting the individual seeking care. I provide recommendations for individualized treatment plans and work together to develop a treatment plan that is right for the client’s perceived needs. All psychiatry providers at Foresight have specialized experience in treating a wide range of common mental health conditions, including but not limited to ADHD, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, depression, and PTSD.
