We are living in a pressure-filled, anxiety inducing world and I am here to help you navigate through it! I am passionate about helping my clients deal with all of the everyday life “stuff” that they and so many others struggle with. In today’s society, it feels like so many people are pressured to fit inside a certain box to “qualify for” or “need” therapy. With my experience working with diverse clientele in various settings, I strive to be a clinician who is working towards changing the narrative on who therapy is or is not intended for. I understand first hand the pressures, unrealistic expectations, and struggles we are faced with on a regular basis. My practice focuses primarily on anxiety and depression, as well as working with clients who simply just need someone to talk to. I hear you, I'm here for you, and I want to help. I am here and ready to take this journey with you, all you have yo do is reach out!

We offer affirming psychotherapy and sex therapy for individuals, couples, multiple-partner relationships, and poly and leather families. We are experts in alternative sexualities, specializing in working with adults in the kink/BDSM, polyamorous/non-monogamous, trans/gender-nonconforming/non-binary, LGBQIA+, and sex work communities. We work with those who live openly and out; and those who have more conservative and private lifestyles. We use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including holistic, person-centered, collaborative, empowerment-focused, trauma-informed, IFS, DBT, and EMDR. We welcome people of every ability, age, gender, national origin, race/ethnicity, religious affiliation, and sexual orientation, and we cultivate space for conversations that de/reconstruct whiteness, and cultivate positive racial and intersectional identities. People seek therapy for many reasons, including: a deeper understanding of identity or sexuality; difficulty adjusting to relationship difficulties or traumatic experiences; anxiety and/or depression; sexual functioning issues; compulsive thoughts or behavior; and/or changes in relationship structure or power dynamic. Most people decide to work with my practice because of my specialized training and experience, or because they feel more comfortable speaking to a therapist with first-hand knowledge of alternative identities and lifestyles.

We are a group of therapists in Denver who have a passion for helping young adults live their best lives. We provide a safe space to process past trauma and current life events in order to learn from them and figure out how to heal and avoid toxic patterns moving forward. We believe that therapy works best when it involves back and forth conversation and active involvement on our part. We aim to be warm, funny, empathetic, and create a strong relationship where there are no "off limit" topics.

When you’re the type of person who “shows up” for everyone else, it can be hard to admit you’re burned out. Helping is how you’ve learned to cope, connect and stay safe. I treat depression, anxiety, and burnout for people (15 years and older) who are too busy pleasing others to help themselves. My clients often find themselves having sudden health issues or lack of concentration and get into an identity crisis! "Who am I if I can't pull off miracles every day?!?" I offer a combination of psychotherapy and art therapy, which works well for people who don’t know where to start. I also integrate financial therapy into sessions because money issues are often unspoken roadblocks to personal growth. Art therapy is for all ages, and I primarily work with teens and adults. If a little part of you did a cartwheel when you read “art therapy”, it just might be a good fit for you. If another little part of you also got scared and nervous, that’s completely normal. You won't be judged about talent or skill, it's really about the process, not the product. Many clients have big new insights into their lives by working with images. When you've been running on empty, it's time to fill your tank. I'm a recovered pleaser too!

Life can often present us with challenges that leave us feeling not like ourselves. Many of us seek to deepen connections to feel a sense of peace, wellness, and fulfillment in our lives, but don't know where to begin. I offer a holistic approach to therapy using evidence based practices, somatic/body techniques, mindfulness/meditation, & family systems techniques within an attachment framework. If you are experiencing changes/transitions, have concerns about self-esteem and identity, or experience stress, anxiety, depression or trauma, let's work together to provide you a space to process your experiences and sense of relief. I offer telehealth, office, and nature based sessions. The outdoors can offer a place of healing and rejuvenation. My practice utilizes nature to enhance the healing impacts of traditional talk therapy. I offer a walk-and-talk model that combines the freeing element of being outdoors with psychotherapy. Movement in the outdoors gives us the ability to access our emotions and process our experiences while feeling grounded and attuned to the moment. This can be a new and inspiring experience for those who have tried traditional office-based therapy and felt they needed something different or more dynamic.

Marriage & Family Therapist
Canton, GA

Hi, My name is Heather and I have been working as an individual and family therapist for over 10 years. Through my professional experiences, I have found a love for working with younger adult clients and currently work with many undergraduate and graduate college student. I enjoy my work in helping to identify what isn't working for clients in their individual lives or in their relationships and finding alternative ways of thinking and responding that support mental wellness. My experience is is mostly in the areas of symptoms commonly experienced by those struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD. I work mainly with cognitive models of therapy and am trained in EMDR, and have experience with other theories of psychology that I interweave into my practice, depending on what clients needs are and what they respond positively to. Ultimately I think the connection between therapist and client is the most important part of the therapeutic relationship and I truly enjoy getting to know my clients on a personal level through the clinical work we engage in. I'd appreciate your consideration in your searches for a therapist to work with.

You worry about everything- literally everything. You toss and turn at night, waking up exhausted, and unprepared to start the day. It is like you are on auto pilot- just going through the motions. You are constantly in your head, unable to enjoy the present, and time with friends. You feel anxious and on edge most of the time, you wish you could just relax. Others see you as someone who has it all together, without a care in the world- how little they know. Let’s face it, you hide the worry and anxiety well. But lately, it has been getting harder to manage. The anxiety you continuously try to bury, is creeping its way up, and you are feeling overwhelmed. You have been contemplating therapy for so long, not sure if it will even help. But you’re ready now, you know things need to change, and you can’t go through life like this much longer. Now imagine... Imagine being able to finally be present in your everyday life, and actually enjoy your time with family and friends. Imagine finally being able to relax and sleep. Imagine waking up energized and ready to start the day. You’re ready to take the driver’s seat, and no longer allow anxiety and worry to take control. And I can help. I am trained in EMDR and DBT and specialize in helping people like you who struggle with excessive worry. I am a Christian and offer faith-based counseling for those seeking it. However, I work with people no matter their religious affiliation or lack of one. I provide only online counseling. It is time to cross off “find a therapist” from your to-do list. I look forward to hearing from you.

Clinical Social Work/Therapist
Denver, CO

Katie has working in the mental health field for over 10 years, supporting individuals, couples, children, and families as they navigate both everyday challenges and deeper healing work. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College and a Master’s degree from Boston University, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Colorado. Alongside her graduate training, she completed a clinical fellowship at the University of Colorado School of Psychiatry, specializing in Child Development and Infant Mental Health. Over the years, she has sought out additional training to better support her clients, including EMDR (both basic and advanced trainings), Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Circle of Security Parenting. She is also endorsed in Colorado as an Infant Mental Health Specialist. While her background is rooted in research and evidence-based practice, she believes therapy is ultimately about human connection. Katie brings a warmth, curiosity, and compassion into every session, creating a safe space for you to feel understood and supported as you work toward lasting growth.

Licensed Professional Counselor
Loveland, CO

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and transgender man whose work centers on understanding how trauma shapes people and supporting healing from those experiences. I also specialize in working with LGBTQ+ clients, offering care that helps people feel seen, affirmed, and understood—often in ways they may not have experienced before. Life is heavy when you are disoriented after leaving a belief system or being alienated and trying to cope while longing for healing when all you want to do is rest. I create a space of safety, curiosity, and genuine connection for people making sense of what they've lived through and the world they now inhabit. Together, we build understanding and gently create more room for relief, peace, and self-trust. It's okay if therapy feels intimidating or confusing, and it's okay if you don't have the right words to begin. If meaning feels distant, your mind won’t quiet, or the past keeps intruding on the present, you’re not alone—and I may be a good fit. Healing doesn’t mean forgetting or fixing what happened. Often, it looks like feeling more at home in yourself, having greater choice in how you respond, and finding moments of steadiness—even when life remains complex.
