As a somatic psychotherapist, I provide body-based trauma-informed therapy from humanistic, positive-values approach. I cultivate deep empathy for and with my clients in their present state. Then, by adding in breathing and awareness skills, we aim to make the present moment more tolerable, while cultivating change from within. I am a graduate of Naropa University’s Somatic Counseling Psychology program with an emphasis in Body Psychotherapy. I am trained in EMDR and am currently pursuing Relational Life Therapy RLT training.
I specialize in working with college students and young adults on a variety of issues ranging from transitional stress, anxiety or depression, to trauma and substance abuse. I provide talk therapy using CBT, DBT, and EMDR to directly address traumatic experiences.
Hi everyone, I’m Amy, and I’m really glad you’re here. My approach to therapy is about creating a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. I’m trained in EMDR and also like to bring in approaches such as mindfulness, walking sessions, breath work, and practical skill-building, depending on what feels most helpful for you. I also draw from DBT, which stands for Dialectical Behavior Therapy. In real life, that means learning concrete tools for things like calming yourself when emotions feel overwhelming, communicating more effectively in relationships, and finding ways to balance school, life, and stress. These skills are all about helping you feel more in control and supported in the day-to-day challenges you face. I’m also a mom, and I have deep respect and admiration for young adults — I really value the unique perspectives you bring to the world. My goal is to walk alongside you as you navigate challenges, discover your strengths, and build tools that support your growth both now and in the future.
You've been feeling anxious, depressed, maybe your relationships are struggling. Feeling overwhelmed, like you are not in control of your life can get in the way of your job, school, your confidence and your ability to be present in daily life. You might be thinking, "nobody knows what I'm going through" or have thoughts telling you that “you are just not good enough.” Healing is possible. Get the help that you need to move on from the difficult things that have happened to you. It is my number one goal to support you and help you experience a sense of safety and stability. You will learn coping mechanisms and ways of managing the overwhelming feelings and emotions. I use EMDR and sensorimotor psychotherapy, which just means working with the body. I believe our bodies can help us in the process of healing. EMDR is very effective for depression, anxiety, PTSD and much more.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck in a pattern that is hurting you or the people in your life, or just not living the life that you want to live, it might be time to talk to someone. I offer traditional talk therapy from a blend of therapeutic modalities including somatic awareness practices, Jungian archetypal exploration, mindfulness based visualization, and behavioral therapy. Additionally, I provide Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy for clients suffering from complex trauma, addiction, depression, and anxiety.
We specialize in supporting undergraduate and graduate students coping with inevitable challenges that come with this time in your life, as well as the profound growth that is possible during this chapter. Particularly, we enjoy supporting students' resilience to shame, social and performance anxiety, grief and loss, body image concerns, perfectionism and self-criticism, panic, and trauma. We also offer support with substance abuse. In addition, we help students move towards empowering the identities and values most important to you, building enriching relationships, and thriving in your chosen passions. Lastly, we offer individual counseling and high performance psychology, group counseling, and psychological testing services, and enjoy working with students across the neurodevelopmental spectrum.

I'm a clinical psychologist providing individual therapy for adults and adolescents. If you're here, then you're probably looking for a change. Life can be unpredictable, complicated, and demanding. Low self-esteem, unpleasant moods, challenging relationships, and academic/professional stressors can be difficult to navigate alone. Together we can determine what a change may look like for you and develop strategies for moving towards that change. I view therapy as a collaborative process -- a joint effort towards feeling more connected, satisfied, and adaptable. I work with professionals, students, artists, musicians, parents, and many other individuals.
My name is Zach and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Altitude Wellness Counseling. I received my masters in social work from Colorado State University. After receiving my degree I went to Texas and worked with teens and families at a residential counseling center. It was there I learned and began implementing the backbone of my practice. I realized that a relationship is the catalyst that brings about change. Nobody cares what you know until they know you care. With 11 years of experience I found that problematic behavior is simply the external representation of an internal problem. With all this being said, I don’t treat a person’s diagnosis; I work to help the person learn to be bigger than their struggles so they can succeed in life. A unique aspect of my practice is that I like to meet those I work with where they are. I don’t use an office (unless this is desired) allowing me the freedom to meet wherever you feel comfortable. I look forward to meeting you and helping you overcome whatever situation may be holding you back from being the best version of yourself.
The heart of The Lumos Clinic, founded by Dr. Wright, beats with a mission that transcends traditional boundaries. It is a place of empowerment, education, and empathetic consultation, catering to those seeking not just transformation, but a deeper understanding of themselves. Dr. Wright's approach isn't confined to medications alone; it's a symphony of therapeutic modalities, artfully combining psychotherapy, behavioral medicine, and the innovative potential of AI-assisted treatments.
I am a board-certified psychiatrist in private practice. I work mainly through insight-oriented psychotherapy, but I also offer diagnostic evaluations and prescribing services. Patients see me for a variety of concerns around self-esteem, trauma, attachment, dependency, boundaries, self-criticism, and childhood abuse/neglect. These issues may lead to shame, guilt, anxiety, irritability, mood swings, perfectionism, self-loathing, or repeated conflicts with family, colleagues, or romantic partners. Therapy is a chance to think carefully together about your past and present experiences to deepen your insight into your situation. As we come to understand your inner world, I hope you will gradually notice a greater sense of flexibility, freedom, and openness to life's many joys and challenges. As a psychiatrist, I am happy to help with diagnostic clarification and medical treatment of most general psychiatric conditions including mood and anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, ADHD, and others. While medications alone often fail to address the deeper conflicts and traumas that cause our symptoms, a thoughtful approach to prescribing can help build a foundation for the personal work that leads to lasting change. I have special experience working with university students and early career professionals in medicine, academia, law, tech, and the arts. I enjoy working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and I welcome and affirm those who may identify as LGBTQIA+ or neurodivergent.
