Therapists for college students near Denver, CO
I work best with students who are navigating the challenges of college while also exploring their identity, relationships, values, and future. Many of my clients are balancing personal goals with expectations from family, culture, or their communities and may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of their next steps. I provide a supportive space to help students better understand themselves, build coping skills, and move forward with confidence.
Life can start to feel heavy when you’re constantly carrying the weight of worry, unhealed emotional wounds, or a cloud of sadness that just won’t lift. Maybe you find yourself trapped in a loop of overthinking, feeling disconnected from the people around you, or exhausted from trying to look like you have it all together. If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply tired of navigating these challenges on your own, please know that you don’t have to carry this by yourself. My therapeutic approach is down-to-earth and collaborative: less like a rigid assessment and more of a supportive, open conversation where you can feel comfortable truly being yourself. I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, significant life changes, and safely process past traumatic experiences. When you sit down with me, you can expect a space that is entirely free of judgment, where your unique story is heard and respected. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating, but you deserve a space that’s dedicated to your healing and growth. If you're interested in working together, please reach out.

I believe healing your relationships with others starts by healing your relationship with yourself. I guide clients through the healing process by providing the tools needed to connect with yourself, your body, and the world around you. Through therapy, I believe it is possible to improve your self-esteem, grow interpersonal relationships, and end negative thought patterns. I am passionate about providing an accessible therapy experience by operating from a trauma-informed and multicultural lens. When working with couples, I emphasize the importance of communication and empathy and honor the uniqueness and nuance of each individual. I utilize empathy, humor, and curiosity to connect with clients on a genuine, human level. I'm enthusiastic about helping others tackle issues including depression, interpersonal issues, eating disorders, negative self-talk, body image, anxiety, addiction, and self-harm through modalities such as ACT, DBT, CBT, Gottman principles and person-centered therapy. The first step of a long journey is always the most challenging. I encourage you to reach out for help and allow me to meet you along your route- to help guide you towards inner-peace and healing. I want to build upon the "traditional" therapy experience- in addition to telehealth and in-office sessions, I also offer connection through movement and nature.
Hi there, my name is Dylan Warnari (he/him) I am looking to work with young adults as I find it can be an equally challenging and exciting time for people. There's a lot to consider from school motivation, setting oneself up for a career, and navigating peers/teachers and the college system broadly. Additionally, it can be a time where you're exploring new identities, meeting new people, navigating roommate situations, finding important relationships, and sometimes managing the ups and downs of newfound freedom from parental overhead. My hope is to be a support in helping you explore your options and find those that most align with your values and goals. I have a pretty extensive background in education (can see my website if interested) that has shaped my view that for some, dropping out, and finding a way to do that despite outside pressures, can also be valuable and I can support in that transition as well. Of course, I am open to discussing concerns beyond what's mentioned here including depression, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, trauma, coping skills, and identity. I also bring a focus on emotional self- and co-regulation to session. Some additional detail highlights (1) My availability is mostly between 9:30-3:30 Mon - Fri, but if you have additional preferences I may be available, (2) I offer and prefer in-person off I225 and Iliff, but may be open to virtual, (3) 18+ and willing to work with all genders (4) I accept insurance (Kaiser, Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare) and also private pay at $150 a session with sliding scale pricing available.

Welcome To Our Group Practice A message from the Founder and Clinical Director: I want you to know how excited I am to meet you. I light up when I think about ways I can support you and be a part of ushering human beings into a new world. I feel hopeful when I see the work of Brene Brown, HeatherAsh Amara, Tara Brach and many others like them who are doing work on a large scale to help us move out of the old paradigm of living from the head- comparison, acquisition, power at all costs, being the smartest person in the room, and fierce independence. We are evolving into heart-centered living- which is practicing empathy, compassion, acceptance, cooperation, openness, interdependence and curiosity. This is how I want to live, do you? I believe it is possible and heart-centered living starts with healing past wounds and freeing up our energy to take responsibility for our lives. I was a kid who had a lot of energy. I loved doing cartwheels in the grass, voraciously reading every single one of the books in the Babysitters Club series and climbing the weeping willow trees that grew near my house. I've always loved exploring, learning, and moving my body. Now, I use that energy to climb rock walls, hike mountains, and enthusiastically lead therapists in our thriving private practice while facilitating a kick-ass women's empowerment program. I get energized when I feel into how much healing we get to do together. I have discovered my gifts of curiosity, intuition, and a natural tendency to care about and hold compassionate space for others. I channel this into my work with individual clients, workshops that I facilitate, and the mentorship and training that I offer to the therapists who work with me at Insight. I want you to feel excitement about your life and journey towards bringing your gifts forth. We can help you discover who you are under the layers of self-protection, survival mode, and numbing the overwhelm. The first steps toward this is saying yes to yourself, beginning your healing, and trusting the process. Our group practice offers so many avenues for growth. We have specialties in EMDR, Internal Family Systems, group work and workshops, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Feminist Therapy, Existential Therapy, and more. Explore our website to see what speaks to you and reach out to our Client Care Coordinator. She can determine who and what will be the best fit for your goals. If you feel a YES rising in you, if you want to live more from your HEART and SOUL- then give us a call and schedule your first appointment or join our next workshop. You are worth it. You matter. Take the leap! With Love, Respect, and Hope, Bethany
Growing up comes with unique challenges at every stage, whether you’re a child, teen, young adult, or family seeking support. As a licensed professional counselor, my passion lies in helping individuals and families navigate life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and the connection between therapist and patient is at the heart of meaningful progress. That’s why I work collaboratively with you to build a meaningful, trusting therapeutic relationship grounded in a trauma-informed, patient-centered approach. My goal is to offer a safe, inclusive space where you can develop effective coping skills, build self-awareness, and move toward the lasting growth and well-being you deserve. As a person of color, creating a culturally inclusive space is something I hold with great intention. Representation matters, and I strive to offer every patient the opportunity to work with a therapist who can understand and genuinely relate to their lived experience. My approach is integrative and shaped entirely around your unique needs and goals. Within our therapeutic relationship, you'll find a space that is both safe and encouraging, one where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences freely. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, and incorporating art- and play-based techniques when working with children and adolescents, sessions are designed to meet you where you are. Together, we'll work to uncover patterns, work through life's experiences, and build practical coping tools that support your growth. My path to becoming a therapist is deeply personal. My own experiences in therapy, navigating anxiety, and growing up with divorced parents gave me firsthand insight into the power of healing and the importance of having the right support in your corner. That foundation shapes the care and empathy I bring to every session. With four years of experience in private group practice and school-based settings, I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, adolescents, and families through a wide range of challenges. Most recently, as a school-based therapist, I helped young people strengthen focus, build peer relationships, and develop practical coping skills they could carry into every area of their lives. Experience in a day treatment setting has further deepened my understanding of more intensive support needs. This background gives me a strong understanding of today's educational environment and the pressures students and families face, and I am well-equipped to support you in advocating for your needs within the school system. Originally from Chicago, I’ve called Colorado home since 2015. Outside of the therapy room, time with family, friends, and dogs brings me a lot of joy, as does exploring the great Colorado outdoors through hiking and paddle boarding. Trying new restaurants, catching live music, reading, and watching scary movies round out life away from work.
I help diverse populations, including individuals, families, and couples, navigate relationship challenges, trauma, addiction, self-esteem, and emotional struggles. My style is warm and engaging, utilizing an integrative, humanistic, and emotionally focused approach to support you in understanding patterns, building resilience, and creating healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. I’m passionate about the belief that healing happens through safe connection, self-compassion, and understanding our emotional experiences. If you’re looking to feel more understood, grounded, and connected to the life you desire, please reach out today. I believe in meeting people with compassion and curiosity, which helps me be a steady, supportive partner in your healing. You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. Working together, you are empowered to start putting the pieces together in a collaborative and welcoming space, with therapy tailored to your unique story, values, and goals. I use emotionally focused and integrative approaches to help you feel safer, more connected, and more confident. After years working in higher education, and having lost people in my community to addiction, I felt called to help people more deeply, especially communities facing barriers, so they can heal and reach their full potential. I’ve seen firsthand the cultural and religious stigma around mental health, and I wanted to help people feel less alone and more willing to seek support. I continue to believe therapy can be preventive, not just a last resort, and am dedicated to being a source of safety and hope for those in need. I enjoy activities that allow me to connect with others, explore new places, and stay active and balanced. That’s why you’ll often find me in the great outdoors going on hikes and hitting the ski trails or cozied up at home baking and practicing yoga. I also love spending time with family and friends and traveling to new states and countries.

I have over 10 years of experience working with hundreds of college-age clients from all walks of life. With my background as both a special education teacher and college and career counselor, I enjoy helping clients explore their identity, increase self-confidence and autonomy, and overcome fears (or whatever else is blocking them from living well). As a therapist, most of the clients I see experience OCD, anxiety, and neurodivergence. I tailor treatment to my clients’ individual needs and create a warm, supportive environment in sessions where they can truly be themselves without judgment.
At Zephyr Behavioral Health and Wellness, we work best with students who feel like they’ve been pushing through life on hard mode. You might be overwhelmed, burned out, or constantly second-guessing yourself. Maybe school feels harder than it should, relationships feel confusing, or you’re exhausted from trying to keep up with expectations that don’t quite fit who you are. Many of the students we support are neurodivergent (including ADHD, autism, or sensory differences), navigating anxiety or depression, or carrying the weight of chronic stress or past experiences. Some come to us feeling stuck or misunderstood. Others are high-achieving but quietly struggling beneath the surface. You don’t need to have everything figured out to get started. Our team focuses on creating a space that is affirming, collaborative, and practical. Where you can show up as you are and build tools that actually work for your brain, your goals, and your life. If you’re looking for support that feels respectful, personalized, and aligned with who you are, Zephyr may be a good fit for you.
