Therapists for college students near Denver, CO
Do you feel numb or disconnected lately? Struggling to manage emotions, stay focused, or keep up with everything on your plate? Maybe perfectionism is running the show—even when you’re exhausted. Maybe you’re using drinking, weed, or other habits to cope. Maybe guilt, shame, or feeling “not enough” hits you more than you let on. Relationships might feel confusing or repetitive, or you might find yourself always on alert, restless, isolating, or overworking because slowing down feels uncomfortable. College can also bring up painful experiences you didn’t expect—old wounds, traumatic events, or something that happened (like sexual assault or abuse) that changed how you feel about yourself, others, or the world. Adjusting socially, emotionally, and academically can be harder than anyone talks about. If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. I work experientially, integrating somatic approaches, EMDR, psychodrama, and other in-action modalities to help you reconnect with yourself, shift stuck patterns, and feel more grounded and in control of your life again.
A lot of us struggle to prioritize our wellness while balancing daily tasks, stressors, and especially during major life transitions such as college, career changes, relationship changes, mid-life crisis, retirement, and so on. Maybe you’re juggling college classes, being away from home and learning about this “adulting” thing. Or maybe you’re wondering how you became the adult & who let you be in charge?! If you’ve lost a sense of balance, if you live your life like everything is urgent, you are in the right place. If you’re not sure what you want or who you want to be but you feel a pressure to do it well (perhaps even perfectly!), I’m so glad you found me and I hope you’ll reach out!

Hello! I’m a licensed psychologist who seeks to not just help manage symptoms, but to promote wellness. I am experienced in treating a range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, attachment concerns, caretaker stress, chronic pain, binge eating, identity development, career exploration, and life transitions. Having worked with adult clients from a variety of backgrounds, I aim to incorporate a culturally sensitive lens throughout my practice. In sessions, my approach implements behavioral interventions alongside empowerment, exploration of self, and establishing meaning in life. My style is integrative and flexible. I primarily work from a psychodynamic and existential lens to connect past traumas to current patterns, address underlying needs, and foster hope. Through adding in ACT and DBT behavioral interventions, we can better manage symptoms and move towards goals. This multifaceted approach allows client-driven movement between self-exploration, emotional processing, and challenge.

Challenges are essential to growth. We all face challenges. The various challenges, crises, traumas we all inevitably encounter can create anxiety, depression, and disconnection. Unfortunately, labels and diagnoses can stop you from seeing that you are okay. As you are. Your felt experiences of hurt, when processed deeply, actually lead to self-discovery. Seeking help doesn’t mean that anything is necessarily wrong. In fact, expertise can guide you through these moments safely. Through somatic healing therapy, individuals and couples will find inner strength to start anew. I am a somatic therapist who counsels individuals and couples to honor who they truly are. Together, we explore new ways to cope with conflicts, and the challenges presented in day-to-day life. Bring all of yourself to therapy. You’ll create better relationships with yourself and others as a result. So, get comfortable. Let’s find what brings you joy and helps you feel fulfilled. Break through. Ultimately, this process is about loving and becoming more of yourself.
I enjoy working with students and graduate students. Please see my website for more information.

At some point, many people realize that what they're doing is no longer working, but they're not sure what to do to fix it. I specialize in people (13+) and families who are dealing with conflict, self-defeating behaviors, anxiety, depression, stress, anger, loneliness, relationship issues, low self-esteem, or questions of identity. Through my practice, I've successfully helped clients move past issues that have blocked them from living fully, completely, and whole-heartedly. While working with me, they've been able to find more joy, happiness, success, and peace in the areas of their life that matter most to them. Together, we'll build your self-awareness, develop clarity on your goals and values, and foster an understanding of where you're coming from and where you'd like to go. I use several evidence-based modalities to help my clients do that, but the most important aspect of my practice is my relational, non-judgmental, open, direct, and clear approach. My work matters deeply to me and I feel a strong calling to give my clients my best, session after session. There's no better feeling I get than when my clients sense their progress and recognize that their life is changing in ways they've always longed for. If any of this has resonated with you, please don't hesitate to reach out. Let's talk.
