Hello, I’m so glad you’re here! I'm passionate about guiding individuals on their journey towards healing and self-discovery. As an art therapist, I believe in the transformative power of creativity to help people of any age express themselves and navigate life's complexities. You don’t need to consider yourself to be an artist to find benefit in creative healing. I will work with you to introduce artmaking that meets your unique needs. Alongside art therapy, I also offer traditional talk therapy, providing a holistic approach to mental and emotional well-being that can be best catered to your specific therapeutic needs. In my practice, I prioritize a person-centered, existential, and strengths-based approach, recognizing that each person is the expert of their own experiences. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, understanding that therapy knows no age limit. I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, feelings, and concerns at their own pace. As a LAPC and ATR-P I am currently under the supervision and direction of Nancy Morales, LPC, ATR-BC, CPCS and AICC Clinical Director, Christi Bartolomucci, PhD, LPC, CPCS. My areas of specialty include ADHD, ASD, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, chronic illness, grief, loss, behavioral issues, personal growth, relationships, social skills, life transitions and navigating life changes, such as impacts of divorce or career shifts. Additionally, I specialize in identity work, helping clients explore and embrace their authentic selves. As a queer-affirming therapist, I am committed to creating an inclusive environment where LGBTQIA+ individuals feel accepted and valued. I celebrate the diversity of human experience and aim to provide affirming care to all clients. Above all, my goal is to empower clients to lead fulfilling lives and embrace their true selves. With kindness, warmth, and genuine care, I am here to support you on your journey towards healing and growth.
My waitlist is open, please email me! In a safe and non-judgmental environment, I utilize art therapy to help you process emotions and challenging life experiences. No experience in art is necessary to benefit, you only need the willingness to express yourself and engage in the creative process. I use art therapy in counseling with those who are seeking to process anxiety, stress, trauma and more. As your therapist, I will work with you to ensure that you feel safe and validated while we build the therapeutic relationship and process challenges with art therapy. Not into art? Not to worry, I also offer traditional talk therapy! Art therapy is a powerful mind-body therapeutic process. Using art in therapy stimulates the brain in areas inaccessible by verbal stimulation alone and contributes to new neural connections. Focus is on the therapeutic process of art making, creativity and reflection, as well as personal growth and development. I am here to help you with any challenges you might be facing. If this seems like a good fit for your needs, please reach out and we can discuss more in depth about how art therapy can benefit you! Email is the best way to reach me! I can add you to the waitlist immediately!
Occasionally we all struggle to stay "on top" of things, or have a hard time keeping up with everything we need to do in a day. For some of us, it's a little more than that. It's constant scrolling through social media to give your brain a break, and that break turns into an hour. Or procrastinating simple tasks like finishing an assignment, or sending an email. Maybe you're having a hard time just waking up and getting out of bed in the morning. It's distressing to feel like you're struggling and not know how to fix it. If this sounds like you, just know: things can get better! Anxiety and depression don't have to rule your life. I'd love to work together with you on topics of general anxiety, self-confidence, identity issues, relationship issues, faith/religious questioning, perfectionism, and depression (and more!). As a CBT therapist, I help you identify areas of difficulty in your routine so we can build skills like self-awareness, coping mechanisms, and self-esteem. We are all learning how to do this thing called Life. And you can learn how to live happily and authentically! I aim to provide a calming space where we can slow down, and work together to better understand and accept the person that you are, and the person you want to be.

We help clients live life a little better. If your relationship is on the rocks, how can you possibly study? If your family is not understanding who you are, how can you be okay? If you’re overwhelmed by the transition to college, a new state and not knowing anyone here, how can you imagine staying and doing well? College life simply put is different and when added to trying to maintain grades, sports, learning independence and possibly learning differences, anxiety can get pretty high. Cura can help! We have immediate availability and you can schedule directly on the website. We offer reduced rates and virtual sessions too!
Life feels so lonely. Sometimes wherever you look, no one seems to be there even when you are surrounded by people. You feel like it’s time to get help, to see if this pain can go away once and for all. Your decision to pursue counseling can be the most rewarding but intimidating. Stepping out to share your most sacred and deep thoughts takes courage. By taking that first step of growth, you are saying “I cannot keep struggling and doing life alone.” We are meant for relationships, to feel supported when we are in pain. My hope is to sit with each client as they face life and communicate “I am here and I am with you.” By helping you walk through pain and connect with what is going on underneath, there is hope to be free once again and truly heal. It is an honor and privilege to sit in these deep places with each client. Reach out to speak with me about counseling and see if we would be a fit!
Are you feeling overwhelmed under the pressures of facing life transitions, hacking adulthood, success/failure, and your FUTURE, particularly in these stressful, uncertain times? Finding an older adult who really gets it, and opening up to a stranger can also be really stressful- I understand! I promise, I really get all that you may be struggling with and can help you learn to cope with it all better, feel less overwhelmed, and be more confident in your ability to not just be “okay,” but to thrive. I work with a lot of folks in their twenties, and always strive to have a relaxed, supportive, inclusive, affirming, and judgment-free safe space for all clients to help them to learn and determine more about Who they are and want to be, to like and value themselves, manage stress and life better, take on each day confidently, and just generally believe they really can figure it out and do it (whatever “it” is). Through a compassionate trauma-informed, strengths-based lens, I seek to help my clients become empowered to heal, grow, and thrive. I work with adults, including many zoomers and zillennials, from all various backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities, faiths, and world-views. While I see that most issues are grounded in some depth of trauma, my focused areas include: anxiety, loss/grief, PTSD and C-PTSD, stress, burnout, perfectionism, Self-Image & Identity, adjustment, attachment wounds / developmental trauma, interpersonal/relationship issues (including w/ family), narcissistic abuse survival, and recovery & relapse prevention. (I also offer a faith-based orientation by client request.) My collaborative approach to therapy does involve talking about life’s issues, but I don’t just repeat things back to you or tell you to change a thought or behavior. I tend to also promote thinking about things from new, alternative perspectives and of yourself in a sense of various parts, to provide comfortable structure and accountability, help you identify and then to understand the real reasons WHY patterns have developed & happen, and to learn how to feel safe, grounded, and regulated within yourself - no matter where you are. I’d say I take a Whole-istic mind-body stance, and often use neuro-somatic techniques, including Brainspotting (BSP) and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) to help reduce reactive feelings, as well as the integration of therapeutic psychedelics for deeper healing. Call, text, or email me whenever you’re ready, and let’s discuss your therapy needs and goals for being the best version of your Self! Lara Eddleman, MS, LPC, CCTP

I have years of experience working with students at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels in different settings. I thoroughly enjoy working with children, adolescents, and young adults. As a licensed psychologist having worked at different settings and with different age groups, I appreciate the nuance that each person brings to the therapy or assessment room. I work collaboratively with clients to figure out the solutions that will best meet each individual’s specific needs. For some, that can mean implementing certain strategies and solutions, while others might require a closer look at one’s identity and close relationships to determine a good path forward. I do my best to ensure that you feel valued, understood, and respected. I specialize in therapy of children, adolescents, and young adults. I have special interests in areas of treatment involving anxiety, depression, attention and learning difficulties, self-esteem and self-exploration, men’s issues, and online gaming and technology addictions. I incorporate tenets of CBT and psychodynamic therapy in my work. I highly value the rapport and connections I build with my clients, as they play the biggest role in determining the outcomes of treatment. If you're interested in starting therapy or assessment services, please don't hesitate to contact me. I hope to have the opportunity to work with you.

Does it ever feel hard (or impossible) to just be yourself? You hear it all the time…people say, “just be you,” but it feels out of reach, too utterly terrifying, or too risky. Or maybe you are still discovering who you are. You’re asking questions and getting curious about aspects of your identity, how you view the world, and how you show up authentically in it. Maybe something shifted recently and you are trying to rediscover your sense of self while your world feels upside down. I help people find their most authentic self. In therapy, we get curious about different parts of ourselves. Parts that have had to stay hidden, parts that respond to triggers, parts we’ve been afraid to face. Working together, I'll support you as you deepen your understanding of your full self and increasingly show up as congruent, authentic, and fully you.
Compassion Cove Counseling has a wide range therapists who treat students struggling with depression, anxiety, OCD, executive functioning concerns, and more.
Hi, I'm Sara! College can be some of the most exciting and also challenging times of our lives. I love working with young adults who need a space to land when things get tough, or who need support in navigating living on their own, stressful school schedules, or challenging relationships. I provide a safe space to support your journey -- whatever it may be -- and enjoy working collaboratively to support your growth.
Hello and welcome to my page! Reaching out is the first step towards healing and I'm glad you are here. My therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, and honest. Before moving into private practice I worked in a variety of therapeutic settings at the inpatient and residential level of care. I am passionate about helping others look back at the experiences that have shaped who they are so they might have a clearer and more satisfying path forward. I draw from a combination of techniques including psychodynamic and attachment theories. If you find that you have difficulty functioning in everyday life, finding joy, communicating effectively and maintaining healthy boundaries in relationships, I would love to work with you. As a counselor, I work with individuals struggling with little t trauma (emotional abuse, prolonged stress, chronic disappointment, abandonment, neglect, relational distress with family members and/or significant other), grief/loss, women’s issues, spiritual trauma, and those who would like to learn more about their attachment style. Outside of work my interests include hiking, kickboxing, paddle boarding and traveling anywhere a place, train, car, or boat can take me.
I am a trauma-informed provider who specializes in supporting individuals and couples navigating conflict, depression, anxiety, infertility, chronic illness, grief/loss, trauma and transition. One of the bravest things we can do is begin to understand our own stories. Clients I support often grapple with the impact of narratives about who they were, are, or "should be", leaving them questioning, "Do I matter?" or shedding pieces of their identity to generate a sense of belonging. Together, we can explore societal and relational influences on your story, while identifying your values, strengths, options for healing and growth. I believe every client holds expertise in their own experiences and deserves the right to make decisions honoring personal journeys and values. My approach incorporates relational-cultural, feminist, and interpersonal lenses. I utilize the Gottman Method, CBT, DBT, IFS, and MSC strategies, also drawing from 12+ years of experience as a parent and educator. Everyone deserves to experience validation, compassion, and belonging. I am committed to facilitating a space in which you feel understood, valued, and supported as we prioritize your goals, explore your story, and incorporate strategies for reintegrating pieces of your Self so you also can experience increased personal acceptance and relational connection.
