Overcoming – Healing – Thriving These three words encompass my goal for each person who walks through my door. I believe in treating the whole person, not just the problem. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside each of my clients, helping them overcome their struggles, heal from their pain, and thrive in their lives. I predominantly work with college aged and adult females experiencing: ● Depression and other mood disorders ● Anxiety ● ADHD ● Low self-esteem ● Conflict and communication ● Family and relationship challenges ● Trauma and grief
ADHD, Anxiety, and Depression can be heavy burdens to carry alone. Any one of these can be a struggle and you deserve someone that is willing to aid you in lessoning the burden. I provide a caring understanding environment focused on developing skills to help you become more flexible. Our sessions will be casual, but we will dive into what you are struggling with. My goal is to help you live a purpose filled life full of what you find most valuable. I'm an ACT(Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) Therapist. ACT focuses on developing skills to take action in areas that you value. For you this means I am going to help you develop psychological flexibility so you can live a life you find meaningful. There will be laughs and tears as we work to understand what value means to you then work to ACT accordingly. As someone with ADHD and who has suffered with anxiety and depression, I know how important it is a client and practitioner are on same page. To this end I offer a free consultation. So, feel free to reach out hassle free. (I will be able to offer in person Eco-Therapy in the near future and will provide a discount to all current and past clients.)

Are the characters/themes in the Euphoria or Pixar films relatable? Do you find yourself connecting your feelings to movies, music, tv, or books? Maybe you're experiencing a recent life change of being in a new environment, newly found independence, a new job, relationship status, recent move, or exploring sobriety, and it sucks doing it alone. Can you relate to the “buzz” of anxiety Ted Lasso felt when his “panic” crept in. Are you the Nick Miller of the group, struggling with holding boundaries, overthink the little things, or feel you are your own worst enemy? How about Chidi Anagonye, uncertain of all your decisions? You feel motivated, yet unsure of how to get started? You’re trying to navigate this fucked up world, while just trying to have the "normal" college experience. Imagine feeling more confident and passionate in your pursuits like Leslie Knope. You want to be more present in your day to day and embrace a feeling of calm. Boundaries? You become a master of that shit! Implementing and enforcing them in your life.
Hi there! My name is Christie Cutshall, LCSW located in Eastern Tennessee with my husband, three bonus teenagers, and two dogs. When I'm not working, I enjoy hiking, spending time with my family, gardening, and cooking. As a graduate of East Tennessee State University, and a practicing social worker for the last ten years, I have gained valuable experience as a mental health clinician. In my experience, I believe growing requires changing and improving the environment in which we grow; only then can we truly thrive! In order to help clients live my best lives, I am passionate about helping them achieve their full potential.
Life is hard. You’re tired of unfair social standards and exhausted from your identities not being celebrated, valued, or welcomed. The space you occupy comes with expectations and standards that feel like inescapable constraints. When you pause and look up at the stars you feel a sense of belonging and feel connected to your guiding values yet your day-to-day is missing this feeling. You stay overly busy without time to think about the hard stuff, or you find yourself sad and overwhelmed with less interest in things you may normally care about, and wonder where to go from here. This might be where therapy comes in. Together we can move towards seeing yourself as valuable, living the life you want to live, navigating systems of oppression, and creating community as a way to heal. I specialize in working with adults with marginalized identities. My areas of focus are anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and identity-related difficulties. During our sessions, we will work within an anti-racist, social justice, Disability Justice, and Health at Every Size framework. If this sounds like a foundation you’d like to work with and you’re looking for the balance between genuine connection, radical compassion, accountability, and a dash of silliness, I might be the therapist for you

Our group of thoroughly trained clinicians are passionate about working with women and individuals who come from diverse backgrounds, are a part of the LGBTQ+ community, or are suffering from mental illness to provide an accepting space without judgement or stigma. We want you to feel comfortable enough to come to us for help breaking through negative thinking patterns, learning how to set healthy boundaries, and bringing joy back into your life. Long story short, we’re here to help you reclaim your magic.
You came to college with a plan. Maybe you're the first in your family to be here, or the one everyone back home is counting on. You're supposed to have it together. But instead you're exhausted, overwhelmed, and quietly wondering if you even belong here. The pressure to perform is relentless. The anxiety before exams, presentations, or even just speaking up in class. The feeling that everyone else got a manual you never received. You push harder, achieve more, and still feel empty or behind. And underneath all of that hustle, there are older, heavier things: childhood wounds, family expectations, generational patterns, anger, and the grief of watching violence hit people who look like you, love like you, pray like you. That's not weakness. That's not a disorder. That's a lot to carry, and you've been carrying it alone for too long. This is a space for college students who are done pretending they're fine. Whether you're dealing with performance anxiety, depression, burnout, a hard time fitting in, or just a deep sense of not being enough, you don't have to keep grinding through it. Using body and mind approaches, we work with how stress and trauma live in your nervous system, not just your thoughts. We also dig into the stories you tell yourself, where they came from, and whether they're actually yours to carry. We work with college students across North Carolina and specialize in multicultural counseling for BIPOC individuals, first and second generation immigrants, and people from SWANA (South West Asian and North African) communities, including Arabs, North Africans, and people from the Gulf region. We understand what it means to navigate life between worlds, and we meet you exactly where you are. You've carried enough alone. Reach out for a free consultation. We'd love to meet you.
Hey there! If you've been carrying more than feels manageable, I'm glad you're here. Whether you're navigating anxiety, ADHD, family stress, identity, or life's many transitions, you deserve a place where you feel understood, supported, and safe to show up exactly as you are. I'm passionate about helping kids, teens, and young adults rediscover joy, peace, and connection while building the tools they need to navigate life's challenges with confidence. I also enjoy partnering with families and welcoming adults looking for a warm, collaborative space to heal and grow. I help people navigate anxiety, ADHD, OCD, burnout, relationship and school stress, and self-esteem challenges. My approach blends warmth with evidence, using CBT, ACT, DBT, and ERP when appropriate. Sessions feel like real conversations, and you'll leave with practical tools - not just feeling that you talked. Life can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to navigate it alone. Whether you're looking for support for yourself or someone you love, I'd be honored to walk alongside you. If you're looking for someone in your corner, I'd love to connect. Reach out to schedule a free 15-minute consultation and see if we're a good fit.

We believe in a holistic approach to therapy and work with you to identify and address the root causes of your mental health concerns.
Hi, my name is Rachel Kelly and I am a licensed professional counselor accepting new clients at Chrysalis Counseling. Has the state of the world left you freaking exhausted? Do you drag yourself through your days at work or school with a fake smile on your face? Do you spend more of your free time than you'd like either stuck in a blanket burrito listening to Bo Burnham's "Inside" on repeat and drinking too much or catering to everyone's needs but your own? I get it. It's hard to balance taking care of yourself and supporting the people you care about while facing a constant onslaught of global stress. That's why I specialize in Acceptance and Commitment therapy to help people make peace with things they can't control and follow through on taking their power back to make meaningful changes where they can. I know that you've been doing the best you can and it's getting too hard to keep doing it on your own. You don't have to anymore. Send me an e-mail today to make an appointment or set up a phone consultation to decide if I'm the right person to help you get out of your head and into your life. *I am licensed in both South Carolina and North Carolina and can provide telehealth sessions to individuals anywhere in either state. I can accept BCBS and private pay. I can provide superbills for possible reimbursement with any insurance company.
I enjoy living in the corners and at the fringes of what stereotypical therapy might look like. It is important to me that those who are outcasts, quirky, different, neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, and the marginalized feel heard. When we work together, I want you to feel like you matter (because you do). If you like the utilization of tarot and oracle cards, we can incorporate that. If you need resources on affirming places to practice spirituality, we can look at those. If you want to talk about kink communities and how to get involved with them, we can find them. Whatever works for you works for me, and I want to help you figure that out.
Sometimes we can feel as if on a mountaintop with a sense of clarity and other times in a valley unable to see the next step. Life is a journey with experiences and seasons where we can all use some help along the way. Whether it be marriage, dating, work, friendships, or family dynamics, relationships can be complex. Through life's complexities we can learn and grow. I believe everyone deserves to experience joy and live an abundant life. By living authentically to ourselves and others we can become the best version of ourselves. My desire is to meet you where you are and collaboratively work with you to reach your full potential. My experience includes addiction counseling, grief work, mens issues, couples counseling, trauma counseling, veteran-specific counseling, and working with adolescents on behavioral issues in their family system. I can also provide music therapy as a board-certified music therapist. Creating change is an active choice and one that is empowering and takes courage to implement. At times we all need help, especially when life gets complex and problems occur. I can relate to life's complexity and extend empathy in your process. My goal is to walk alongside you and provide tools with the mindset that you are the expert of your own life.
Hey and Welcome! As a therapist, my goal is to create an emotionally safe space, that is intersectional and inclusive, to pursue personal healing and self-discovery. Through our work, we will identify how the experiences you have had in your life have impacted who you are in this world and how you relate to others. We will explore the emotional, mental, and systemic barriers that get in the way of evolving into the person you'd ideally like to be, while simultaneously developing a deep respect and reverence for the various versions of you over time that were forced to be resilient through difficult and challenging circumstances. I support clients who are seeking coping tools to create and maintain a sense of emotional stability. My clients are often pursuing healing from trauma, whether it be attachment based childhood trauma or a specific and recent traumatic experience. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ folx, women, and various issues that impact folx of the global majority. Therapy invites us to take up space, prioritize caring for ourselves, and create a life that feels worth living. Seeking support is not an easy decision and the fact you've made it this far is significant. If you'd like to learn more about me, the work I do, and my approach to therapy, please reach out to schedule a consultation appointment.
