I provide a warm and welcoming presence in sessions, allowing clients to relax and speak freely. I have a wholistic approach to counseling, recognizing the connections between mental, physical, relational, emotional, and spiritual health. Clients often come to me when they are experiencing times of transition in their lives (marriage, break-ups, pregnancy, motherhood, fatherhood, college, graduation, the death of a loved one, etc.). I enjoy helping clients process these changes and move towards clarity and calm. Change affects everyone in different ways, and it is important to recognize your own style of processing in order to heal. I work hard to create a space for your soul, the unique person you are to grow, to change, and most importantly to heal so that you can move into the next season with hope and the tools to handle whatever that season brings.
College can feel like constant pressure β perform well, make the right choices, keep it together, donβt fall behind. I work especially well with high-achieving students who look like they have it handled on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck internally. Whether itβs performance anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, relationship stress, or just feeling like youβre never doing βenough,β weβll work together in a structured, practical way. I use evidence-based tools (primarily CBT) to help you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and habits are connected β and to build skills you can actually use between sessions. My goal is to create a supportive space where you can be real, feel understood, and leave with strategies that help you move forward with more confidence and clarity. I offer virtual therapy and accept multiple major insurance plans. Book directly through my scheduling link at the bottom of this page to verify insurance and availability.

Our experiences in this world, often based on identities or trauma, can leave us feeling stressed and uncertain. It's confusing to have your worries get in the way of making the connections with people that you long for; or to be so convinced you will fail that it's hard to take the first step in doing the next thing you want to do; or to be suddenly totally overwhelmed in the middle of this exciting new experience you'd been waiting for. Sometimes people need some help slowing down, reconnecting with themselves, and finding new ways to respond so that they can move forward with hope, self-compassion, and empowerment. I have spent many years working in college mental health, helping students from all identities and backgrounds navigate the growth and challenge of the college experience. My approach is collaborative. Together we figure out what's getting in the way for you. I'll be with you in the hard moments, naming and exploring your thoughts, feelings, and experiences so that you can find ways to respond to them that are helpful. Increased connection with your body is key. Let's also celebrate the wins, big and small, along the way. Finding a therapist that is a good fit is so importantβif you're not comfortable enough to tell your therapist what's really going on, therapy won't work. Let's find a time to connect to see if I would be a good fit for you in your next step.
