Therapy is a collaborative process. One that involves the client, the therapist, and the relationships and experiences that have shaped us throughout our lives. The reasons that bring you to this page are unique and specific to you. Finding the best therapeutic fit is no different. Often the path that led you here has been one full of reflection, questions and challenging decisions. At times that path can also feel uncertain, overwhelming, or confusing. My hope for you is that this is a step in the direction towards peace and insight while providing comfort knowing that you no longer need to take additional steps on your own. My work with adolescents, couples, and families began long before my therapeutic training and became more specialized over time. I utilize a strength-based, empowering and trauma informed approach while integrating humor and warmth. My work with youth in residential settings and parent coaching has shaped my style to be direct while compassionate. If you have decided that we may work well together, have additional questions, or would like to reach out for a consultation; I look forward to connecting soon. Only you can determine what feels best as a next step. My hope is to assist you through your process while working together to identify a direction that supports you and your therapeutic goals.

Being human can be tough! While experiencing the challenges that life may hold, I believe you deserve to be heard, understood, and accepted. I aim to create a compassionate, non-judgmental space for you to share, explore, heal, and make sense of your story and experiences. As we work together, you may identify aspects of your life that you would like to change or experience differently. We will work together with curiosity to create intentional and meaningful steps towards creating that change in your life. For me, it is a deep honor to be a part of your journey as we navigate life’s challenges. As someone who has been a client, I commend you for the courage and vulnerability it takes to begin looking for a counselor. You have made it this far with the resilience that resides within you, and I believe you deserve the opportunity to experience the benefits that counseling has to offer. As a counselor, I use an integrative approach that is collaborative and relationship-based, values and strengths-focused, and social justice-oriented. My approach is influenced by components of and includes teaching skills from Person-Centered, Acceptance and Commitment, Dialectical Behavioral, and Cognitive Behavioral therapies. Additionally, I practice from a lens that is trauma-informed and acknowledges the influence of systemic marginalization, intersectionality, and social injustices. Topics that I support adults in navigating include but are not limited to adjustment and stress management, LGBTQIA+ identities, identity development, issues related to young adulthood and attending college, career path exploration, interpersonal relationships, anxiety and depression, grief, trauma, shame, and self-compassion. Outside of my work, you might find me enjoying some time outside hiking or walking at the park, hanging out or cooking a meal with my chosen family and friends, playing the Nintendo Switch, laughing at memes or TikToks, or just catching up on tv shows/movies with my partner and our two cats.

Charlie Health is a virtual behavioral health program for adolescents and young adults with moderate or severe mental health concerns or co-occurring substance use or eating disorders. Designed to meet the needs of those who require more than weekly therapy, our program combines curated group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy into personalized treatment programs. We are helping to serve those who are in crisis, or have been historically underserved, by eliminating the most significant treatment barriers: geographical and financial access. We work with nearly all commercial insurance nationwide and have no waitlist, thereby helping people access quality, evidence-based care regardless of insurance, location, or other barriers.

I work best with students who are navigating big life transitions, managing stress, or feeling overwhelmed by expectations—whether that’s from school, family, relationships, or themselves. Many of the students I have seen are deep feelers who carry a lot on their shoulders but don’t always feel like they can ask for help. They may struggle with anxiety, depression, identity exploration, or trauma from earlier life experiences. Therapy with me is a space to unpack all of that without pressure to be perfect. You don’t have to have it all figured out—just come as you are.
