Hi! Seeking therapy is a courageous step, and my hope is to gain your trust and build rapport. I provide therapy in a non-judgmental space to help facilitate this. I embrace “to be flawed is to be human,” and with this will focus from a Strengths perspective in our work together. My role is to help empower you to use your positive character traits to shift towards the change you want to see in life. I will incorporate mindfulness practice as well as components of Person-centered therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy and CBT to guide you in your therapeutic journey. My only requirements to work together are honesty and an open-mind. I thoroughly enjoy working with adults and adolescents, including those struggling with substance abuse issues.
College can be exciting, overwhelming, and everything in between—and you don’t have to figure it all out alone. As someone who’s been through the college journey myself, I understand the pressure to succeed, the weight of family expectations, and the struggle to balance mental health with everything else life throws at you. I’m here to support students who are feeling stuck, anxious, burnt out, or unsure of who they are or where they’re headed. With a background in health systems, early childhood development, and clinical training across diverse settings, I offer a space where you can be yourself—no judgment, no pressure. Whether you're processing past experiences, adjusting to a new environment, or just need someone to talk to, I’ll meet you with empathy, tools that work, and a deep respect for your lived experience. Let’s make space for you.

Hi! My name is Karin and I am a licensed mental health counselor. I work with many different presenting concerns and help students tackle any difficulties that come up in their everyday life. In working together, my intention is and will always be to foster an environment that is filled with safety and trust, as well as void of judgment. Being vulnerable can be very difficult on its own, and it’s essential to me to create a space where vulnerability does not come with any more obstacles or barriers. I understand how hard it can be to talk about our problems and the issues we struggle with on a daily basis, and it’s important to me to create an environment where it is easier to talk about what’s going on. I deeply enjoy working with clients from all backgrounds and cultures and having the privilege to provide support along the way. I would love to meet you. Please reach out.

I describe myself as a “space creator” as I have a natural inclination toward the stories, triumphs, and obstacles of others. My primary objective has always been to establish a secure and supportive environment where individuals can rely on themselves rather than solely dependent on me. My intention as a clinician is to orchestrate an experience that cultivates vulnerability and fosters genuine connection. I challenge my clients, but simultaneously provide solace and empower them to undertake the necessary inner work. Learning how to pause, reflect, and celebrate efforts along the way is critical for progress and sustained success.
