I believe this stage of life is an exciting time full of growth, challenges, and new experiences. But it can also bring stress, uncertainty, and pressure to figure it all out. My goal is to provide a supportive, judgment-free space where students can feel heard, understood, and empowered to thrive. I take a collaborative, student-centered approach, helping you build practical skills to manage stress, improve your mental health, strengthen relationships, and stay aligned w/ your goals and values. Together, we’ll work on strategies that fit your lifestyle—so you can feel more confident, resilient, and ready to take on what’s next.
I offer a tailored therapeutic approach through individual, couple, and family sessions, specializing in trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and LGBTQIA+ affirming care. She provides letters of support for clients seeking medical gender-affirming care and brings particular expertise in helping teens develop positive self-image and coping skills. My philosophy focuses on restoring balance, guiding clients to process past and present experiences, and reconnecting with their authentic selves.
Perhaps you’ve noticed feeling more anxious or depressed lately, but aren’t sure why, or what you can do to feel like yourself again. Perhaps you’re struggling with relationship tensions, feeling stagnant in studies or find yourself just more generally in a rut. You may be feeling well overall but want to get a grasp on certain issues in your life. Now might be the right time to break free of those patterns and explore other ways of thinking, feeling and being in the world. I offer a non-judgmental space to learn more about yourself, what you want, and how to get there. My practice is depth-oriented; we work collaboratively to get to the root of your problems so you can move forward both with my help and on your own. We learn together to listen better to you so that you can come into a more solid and vital sense of yourself.

I work with you to not just understand what's going on, but also to develop tools to help. Tools to stop panic attacks, tools to manage depression, tools to get organized and figure out what you want in life. We work together to see what works reliably for you. In addition to talking things through, in session and between sessions sometimes you might be writing, sometimes trying a challenging behavior change, sometimes engaging in mindfulness, and sometimes using visualizations. My aim is for you to feel better, and to know what to do to keep feeling better or help yourself if problems resurface. And I try to work efficiently with you, so you are back to your life (and ending therapy) as soon as makes sense for you. Give me a call to set up an initial (free) conversation, at 303-870-9195.
Hi! My name is Tristan. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Washington and New York. I am a sex and body-positive, LGBTQI+ affirming, kink-friendly therapist who works with adults, 18 and over, around varying topics such as gender, sexuality, HIV/AIDS & STIs, safer sex, self-esteem, self-acceptance, family, Asian (Filipino) identity, polyamorous/alternative relationship structures, harm-reduction, depression, and anxiety. I also prefer a person-centered approach, so we go at your speed, and what makes you comfortable. Sometimes I will push you a little more, but within limits. Hi, I'm Lisa! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in private practice in New York and Florida. I realize how daunting it can be to reach out when you’re struggling and find a therapist you implicitly trust. My personal experience in therapy informs my work and fuels connection for those in need of emotional nourishment, fulfillment, and a new foundation of confidence. With a deep passion for eating disorder recovery advocacy, I help individuals to recover from eating disorders, self-esteem, and body image issues. I strive to create a safe space and foster a genuine, compassionate, non-judgmental relationship with my clients. Everyone’s struggle is unique, yet together we will nurture your self-compassion, food freedom, and body appreciation, so you are able to show up as your authentic self and access your full potential. By validating your perspective, I am dedicated to creating a safe, encouraging, non-judgmental environment where you can explore and express your emotions, discover proper coping mechanisms and life skills to contend with daily challenges and make empowering choices. I encourage the importance of vulnerability, authenticity, communication, self-acceptance, and positive self-talk. Throughout my own personal journey, I trusted and felt the most connection with the clinicians who were recovered themselves. I have learned to own my story and share my truth to make you feel more trusting and comfortable. Having this connection has proved invaluable. I am so grateful for my work and love being able to help others to find the same freedom that I did. Owning my story, stepping outside my comfort zone, and leaning into discomfort has helped me become the person I am today, doing what I know I was always meant to do. Recovery can be your reality when you grant yourself kindness and compassion. I aim to provide support and education to individuals and families affected by eating disorders. I create a bridge for those needing and seeking help by connecting patients with a full comprehensive out-patient team including myself, an ED-sensitive Physician, Dietician, and Psychiatrist, if need be. A triple-team approach is often essential for those in recovery, and I collaborate with some of the best ED specialists and treatment centers in NYC and Florida. I am a graduate of New York University's Applied Psychology, Masters Counseling program for Mental Health and Wellness. Additionally, I have completed my BFA in Drama from Tisch School of the Arts and engaged in the MA, Drama Education Program at New York University. I am a member of The Academy of Eating Disorders and International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals Foundation. Additionally, I have actively participated in the comprehensive services of The National Alliance for Eating Disorders, Monte Nido & Affiliates, and Balance Eating Disorder Treatment Center, including various continuing education courses, trainings, clinical supervision groups, and national weekly support groups. I am licensed to practice psychotherapy and treat patients in New York, as well as patients that reside in Florida, via Telehealth.
If anxiety, relationship conflict, or adjusting to being a college student or soon-to-be graduate are weighing you down, you don’t have to go through it alone. Hello! I'm so glad you're taking this step for your mental health. I went to the therapy for the first time while attending college (at USC too!), and it was pivotal for me. I really value working with college students, and genuinely appreciate how much you have to do deal with. Maybe you're struggling with transitions - adjusting to the start of college, or facing the daunting landscape post-graduation. Maybe you can feel all the pressures mounting to the point where you feel paralyzed and burnt out and confused. Maybe you'd like for just one thing - anything - to be taken off your plate, or for the load to be shared somehow. Maybe you're even trying to figure yourself out beyond the story that's been your life so far. I'd like to help make things seem clearer, or kinder, or safer, and I think we can do it together. I offer 45-minute sessions, as well as longer 90-minute sessions, to fit what you might need best. I also offer letters for medical transition, disability, ESA, and can complete return to school forms.

Hello! I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in working with young adults, LGBTQ+ people (especially trans and non-binary), trauma, and emotional instability. My clients often come from backgrounds where they feel misunderstood and invalidated. They sometimes feel frustrated with their important relationships, or like they're stuck on an emotional roller coaster, or like they have trouble relaxing and feeling safe. In therapy, I create an accepting, non-judgmental environment where my clients can feel truly seen. From there, I help clients understand themselves, what they want to change in their lives, and how to reach their goals. I completed my training at college counseling centers and a hospital program serving college students. I know the challenges college students face, and I love helping students overcome those challenges. If you think we might be a good fit for therapy, please reach out! I offer free 15 minute consultation calls for anyone interested. I am currently offering therapy in person in Berkeley, CA on Saturdays and over Zoom Tuesday-Saturday in California, New York, and Virginia.
