Hello! I'm so glad you're here. Finding support is often a difficult first step in any healing journey. Congratulations on making it this far! As a woman of color, I have used my lived experience and therapeutic expertise to support my clients with navigating challenging relationships with romantic partners, family, and/or friends. We often work together to build healthy self-care practices as well as healthy boundaries across life domains (relationships, family, career). I've also worked with many clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and identity (including members of the LGBTQ+ community). I use a creative and relational approach to find the appropriate fusion of therapeutic interventions to support your needs and work through identified challenges. I have significant interest and expertise in relationship work (specifically healthy/unhealthy relationship practices that can be applied to romantic, platonic, or familial relationships). Whether you're new to therapy or continuing a lifelong journey, it's essential to find a therapist who is a good fit. If you think we'd work well together, you can click on the link to my website to quickly and immediately schedule a 15 minute consultation. Whether I am a good fit for you or not, I wish you well on your journey!

MindView Therapy is a behavioral health practice providing therapy for adults across New York and Indiana. We work with people managing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship difficulties, trauma, and related concerns. Care is delivered by licensed clinicians through secure telehealth, with structured intake, treatment planning, and measurement-based care so progress is tracked, not assumed. Clients are seen by clinicians who fit their needs and schedule, typically within days rather than weeks. We accept a range of commercial insurance plans and verify benefits before the first session so clients know their cost up front. MindView was built for people who want therapy that is organized, professional, and actually moves them forward.

I enjoy working with clients who are eager to improve areas in their lives related to self-esteem, relationships, intimacy, sexuality, trauma, and career satisfaction. Together we will increase your self-acceptance, authenticity, and connectedness with others; you will develop skills to reduce feelings of shame, anxiety, and hopelessness. My warm, open-minded, and non-judgmental style cultivates a process that is both inviting and challenging. We'll explore and confront the cognitive and behavioral blocks in your daily life, as well as past events that are still holding you back. Because no two individuals are the same, our treatment plan will be tailored to reflect your goals. In addition to being a psychotherapist, I have been a full-time professor at New York University for the past 20 years. I specialize in counseling clients in the entertainment industry, creatives in related fields, college students, and the LGBTQ community. Email me for a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to see if we would be a good fit.

It's getting more and more difficult to resist your compulsions. You're getting upset with yourself for not having enough "willpower." You're having frightening thoughts about yourself and others. Thoughts that scare you or contradict your values and who you are as a person. You experience self-hate every time you give into a compulsion. You're exhausted by your own mental and/or physical compulsions. You struggle to trust yourself and often experience shame surrounding your thoughts. You keep it all to yourself because you fear that others will judge you or betray you. Simultaneously, you need emotional support more than ever. My clinical training includes a master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University and a master's degree in Clinical Social work from Hunter College. I utilize ERP, the gold standard for OCD, CBT, and solution-focused therapy. I also provide mindfulness tools to help clients increase awareness around behaviors. I work collaboratively with my clients, using my clinical background and their knowledge of self and am grateful to witness them transform into versions of themselves that they never thought were possible. It is a privilege to be allowed into the minds and hearts of my clients. I welcome you to reach out for a free consultation to see if we're a good fit.

As a former student-athlete, I understand how tough it can be to balance everything, whether it is school, sports or just life in general. That’s why I’m passionate about supporting young adults and the LGBTQ+ community who are dealing with anxiety, depression, or going through major life transitions. Being an athlete showed me how important it is to have a good support system, and I want to be that supportive presence for my clients as they work through their own challenges. I aim to create a nonjudgmental space where you feel seen, heard, and understood. I use a blend of evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients better understand and manage their thoughts and emotions. Using expressive and mindfulness-based practices, we will tap into your creativity, self-expression, and find your own inner calm. My mission as a therapist is to meet each person with empathy and compassion, making sure to support their unique story while helping them discover their inner strength and potential. I’m here to help you navigate what’s hard, celebrate what’s working, and discover what’s possible. I want therapy to feel like a safe, welcoming space where you can be yourself and figure things out at your own pace. Therapy with me is a team effort and you're never alone in the process.
