I specialize in assessing and treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and neurodevelopmental disorders, including ADHD and Level 1 Autism. My approach recognizes how traumatic experiences deeply affect mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. In therapy, we will explore the powerful connection between mind and body, working together to regain control over your life and build a more adaptive understanding of past experiences. My therapeutic interventions focus on developing resilience, strengthening self-confidence, managing symptoms effectively, and fostering new neural pathways that support more positive, meaningful experiences.

As a dual-board-certified adult and pediatric psychiatrist, I provide thoughtful, evidence-based care in a welcoming setting. At present, my practice is centered on young adults and the challenges that commonly arise in early adulthood—including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and neurodevelopmental concerns. My goal is to form a warm, collaborative partnership with each person I work with, so together we can work toward meaningful growth and healing.

When people come to treatment with problems, it is important to remember that they are trying to cope with them in the best way they can. With that in mind, I offer a reflective and engaging partnership with my clients, working toward the goal of helping them to be autonomous, authentic and compassionate in a world that can be extremely stressful. Although my work is solidly grounded in psychodynamic, cognitive/learning, and systems theories, my approach is client-centered, practical and strengths-based. I bring honesty, warmth, and humor to the therapy relationship. I am LGBTQ affirmative and invested in doing cross-cultural therapy which is culturally sensitive. I have a dog, Bracket, who works with me, and I have been doing AAT since 2002. There is a growing body of research which suggests that AAT (Animal-Assisted Therapy) can be helpful with a range of diagnoses, including Depression, PTSD, and Autistic Spectrum. Many therapists know little about online games such as World of Warcraft and Second Life. They may dismiss it as unimportant, or assume it is a problem. I am a gamer-affirmative therapist, meaning I’m more interested in understanding your in-world experience and activity than pathologizing it.

I know the deep darkness of anxiety and depression. I am now happier and healthier and it is my passion to work alongside you to offer the support and guidance in your healing journey. I specialize in helping women reclaim their identity and find safety within themselves again. Using EMDR and somatic-based tools, we don't just talk about the past; we work to release it from your nervous system. In addition to EMDR, I integrate somatic-based practices, including gentle yoga and mindfulness techniques, when appropriate. By incorporating body-based awareness and movement, clients often experience a deeper sense of calm, grounding, and connection to themselves.

Board-certified in Clinical Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. I specialize in treating college students who are dealing with severe anxiety, depression, stress, and complex trauma. Over the years, I have worked with many college students who have found themselves feeling anxious and depressed to the point that they can't continue with school. Many students report going down the same rabbit hole; as the demands of college increase, they become strapped for time and start to neglect their usual self-care routines—eating healthy, exercising, and relaxing. Not surprisingly, their mood becomes poor. Sadly, ignoring these early changes will cause things to get worse. Students then reported no longer enjoying activities that were usually the highlight of their day, feeling exhausted continuously but unable to get a good night’s sleep. Next, their class performance suffers; they sometimes miss classes because they can’t get out of bed. In some cases, students find themselves in a dark place, barely eating, and unable to concentrate enough to read even a short paragraph in their books. It is not uncommon that thoughts begin to circle the same unpleasant memories and nagging fears, resulting in a sense of hopelessness and guilt. The good news is that, In many cases, I have been able to help those individuals feel better and develop the resilience strategies they needed so they could continue with school and graduate successfully. When we work together, you can be assured that you will never be judged; everything we discuss will be confidential. You will be provided with the most advanced techniques appropriate to your needs, and they will help you feel better about obtaining the goals you want to reach. No situation is too small or too large that I can't help you with. Call today for more information. 844-802-6512

Welcome. People come to therapy for a range of reasons. For over 13 years I've worked with individuals 18+ years old struggling with mood, self-esteem, anxiety or worry, relationships, identity, loss, trauma, and life transitions. Working in a college counseling center is part of my prior experience. If you are interested in “depth therapy,” or have tried therapy before and the benefits didn’t stick, my approach may appeal to you. My specialty is called psychodynamic psychotherapy. This means you will be invited to begin each session with whatever comes to mind, and together we explore your inner experiences (emotions, sensations, thoughts, beliefs, expectations, dreams) with a focus on seeking to understand you and what’s troubling you. I can help us “read between the lines” for themes or patterns that contribute to feeling stuck, which may have been previously out of awareness, and which can now inform daily life and relieve symptoms. I am also certified to use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a technique that can help heal trauma symptoms impacting current life. While our work centers on you as an individual, none of us exist outside of the broader socioeconomic and cultural systems we are in. These pressures and influences around us are also real and crucial to recognize. Psychotherapy is an opportunity to deal with issues in a way that is difficult to do alone. I can accompany you with my undivided listening, consistent availability, an appointment day and time safeguarded only for you, and commitment to taking you seriously.

I work with individuals and relationships from a systemic, decolonial, and anti-oppressive lens. This means that when working with you, I will take into account all the micro and macro systems around you that are affecting you on your day to day, and making you feel like there is something wrong with you. I work with individuals who experience stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma due to problems with their family of origin, major life changes and transitions, relationship issues, work stressors, and the state of the world. I like to pay close attention to how our current social and political climate is also affecting you at a personal level and at a communal level. I do my best work with people who are ready to… - look closely at the stories they've been carrying and gently question which ones no longer serve them, - discover and honor their own needs—not just those of others, - sort through the values they've inherited from family, culture, or society to uncover the ones that truly belong to them, - align values, thoughts, and actions in ways that create deeper integrity and wholeness, and practice setting healthy boundaries and asking for their needs to be met with clarity and self-respect. I may not be the right fit for you if… - you are seeking couples therapy for infidelity or relational violence, - you are unwilling or not yet ready to look at your own patterns or make changes, - you want quick fixes without engaging in the deeper inner work, - or you are looking for therapy that does not center justice, culture, or liberation.

Having trained at the University of Notre Dame (Ph.D., M.A.), UC Berkeley (APA-accredited internship) and Stanford (post-doctoral fellowship), I bring rigorous scientific expertise into my clinical work with college students. In fact, I worked at the University Counseling Centers at all three of these schools and have continued to develop a specialized private practice that focuses almost exclusively on college students. I also teach for Pepperdine University in their Graduate School of Education & Psychology. I help clients with a range of concerns including: anxiety, depression, career and academic concerns, ADHD, relationship concerns (situationships, am I right? :) ), body image and eating disorders, perfectionism, college/life transitions, as well as family of origin challenges (let's say it together, boundaries...). I often work with high-achieving students who often are managing academically but struggling internally. My clients often put others first and themselves last. By the time they come to therapy, concerns have been going on for some time and they've reached a breaking point. They may feel they "should" be able to handle things on their own. As a recovering perfectionist and someone who was riddled with anxiety throughout college, I get it. It wasn't until my own training in CBT that I learned how destructive such thought patterns were. It inspired my clinical approach, as well as three clinical workbooks I've published on Solution-Focused Therapy, CBT, and Positive Psychology with the top mental health publishers. Many of my clients who have been to therapy before often remark how "easy" I make the process. We laugh, we learn, and talk like old friends. Therapy doesn't have to be stuffy or stressful. It's about feeling respected, validated and heard. Learning to take care of yourself, set appropriate boundaries, and thrive! I'd LOVE to work with you! Please feel free to book a complimentary 15 minute consultation at my website below so we can connect!

I founded Keshet Counseling to support individuals who often feel overlooked or misunderstood in traditional therapy spaces. My work is especially meaningful to those navigating the complexities of chronic illness, such as Lyme Disease, Mold Toxicity, MCAS, and other invisible disabilities, as well as those facing antisemitism or discrimination for not aligning with political or institutional expectations. I also work closely with teens and adults dealing with antisemitism, narcissistic abuse, multicultural identity issues, codependency, love addiction, grief, anxiety, relationship issues, and trauma. My approach is rooted in body centered somatic psychology using mindfulness. We’ll explore unconscious beliefs and patterns shaping your experience by noticing whats happening for you in this moment. I hold a humanistic view of healing: I believe you are already whole, worthy, and deeply capable of transformation. My role is to help reconnect you to your own inner knowing, and I view our relationship as a collaborative space where your voice and wisdom lead the way. I don’t believe there’s something wrong with you, rather, what happened to you.

Humor is something I like to incorporate into therapy; however, we can be serious about your concerns too. People of all ages struggle with human suffering and sometimes you need someone to walk with you through that, whether it be something you wish to change or something that you cannot. I aim to help my clients make meaning in life while also identifying the connections between our individual concerns and larger systems in life. I provide individual therapy for a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, identity exploration, and trauma, with specialized experience supporting people through grief, traumatic loss, and substance use concerns. My clients have expressed appreciation for my ability to sit with them in their suffering, when they have felt most alone. I have multiple years of experience previously working in college counseling centers. During these experiences, I supported students from a variety of backgrounds and found a lot of joy in helping students at a unique intersection in their lives. I have been lucky to work with a diverse student population and have supported many queer and trans students in exploring their gender and sexual identities while also addressing other mental health concerns. In addition, I was able to support BIPOC students as they addressed systemic issues within the university, while also exploring their individual racial identities. I further co-facilitated a family-trauma group during my time at a university counseling center. Thus, I find that I greatly appreciate being able to sit with students who are addressing these concerns. I am a Psychologist Resident in OR. I have my doctorate and five years of experience providing therapy, however, to become licensed in OR I must complete a supervised residency. I am supervised by Dr. Carrie McMullin (OR 2963). With my client-centered focus, I work hard to build a therapeutic relationship that creates a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental space for clients to present themselves to their fullest potential. My priority is to guide and support each client in their journey to develop their sense of self-love, confidence, and peace of mind and body. Some of the issues I work with are relationship issues, academic stress, ADHD, parenting support, parent-child relationship issues, peer conflict, family conflict, anxiety, depression, cultural adjustment, life transitions, coping skills and general stress. I have extensive experience working with high-risk children, teens, and families experiencing a diverse range of emotional and behavioral problems at home and school, and symptoms resulting from disrupted attachment. I also have experience working with clients from minority cultures and marginalized groups. Growing up in another country, having knowledge and experience around a diversity of cultures allows me to be more open-minded, compassionate, and humble in supporting clients through a more holistic lens. It is never easy to take the first step, know that my goal in the therapeutic process is to create a safe and supportive environment for you.
