I work with individuals and couples who want to grow and change at a pace that feels safe, intentional, and sustainable. Together, we clarify what’s keeping you stuck now, what may need more time and support, and how to create change that is both embodied and meaningful. If you’re ready to move toward a way of living that feels more grounded and aligned, I invite you to reach out.

Queer enough? Babe, you're overqualified. If you're questioning it, you probably already know the answer. Queerness isn't a checklist or a vibe check. You don't need a membership card, you are already in. Out of the entire LGBTQIA+ community, folks like bi, pan, genderfluid, and nonbinary people are often seen as "less queer" - yet we face the highest rates of gender/sex based anxiety and depression. The double-closet effect - feeling invisible to both straight and queer spaces - makes it harder to feel seen, heard, and valid. No matter the mental health symptom, for queer people, healing starts with feeling validated and affirmed. I help queer folks who struggle to feel like they belong (including in LGBTQIA+ spaces) embrace their identity, trust their "enoughness," find calm through adversity, and conquer life stress, relationship trauma, and anxiety. I'm here for your fluidity, your bisexuality (no matter the gender of your partner), your polyamory, your transness. Welcome home. Healing starts with being in a space where you don't have to explain or prove yourself. We don't have to focus exclusively on queerness in your sessions, but you will never have to wonder if it's accepted and understood. Whether stress, relationship trauma, or anxiety, we'll focus on what matters to you. When you're ready, I'm here.

I offer a client centered approach to care, valuing honesty, compassion, and accountability. I believe that that the client/therapist relationship should be one that is based on mutual trust & respect, open & honest communication, and ability to work collaboratively on treatment goals. If you are thinking about taking that brave next step, I would love to meet you, and it would be an honor to embark on that journey with you! I offer a remote treatment experience for those that would prefer to remain in the comfort of their own home. You can expect our first session to be a laid-back conversation, where you can share with me only what you feel comfortable as we build trust. If you wish to continue, we will set some goals together and work on a plan that meets your needs. Whether you are struggling with social pressures, academia stress, the adjustment to college life, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, or just feeling overwhelmed-- I am here to offer support and empowerment along the way.

As an athlete, you know that performance is as much about your internal state as it is about your training and skill. I help college athletes master the mental side of their sport by treating anxiety at its physiological roots. Using a combination of EMDR to clear performance blocks and in-depth nervous system education, we’ll move beyond the "grind" to build genuine resilience and confidence. Whether you are stepping onto the field or approaching the bar, my goal is to ensure your body and mind are synced, helping you transition from being overwhelmed by pressure to being fueled by it.

Hi, I'm Rebecca and I'm so glad you're here. I love supporting students of all ages and young adults in graduate school, college, and high school, as you're navigating through life transitions, relationships, and mental health challenges. I have worked at many college counseling centers and know how important and intense these years are for students. I work to provide a safe, collaborative landing space for you to find your voice; learn new ways of being, with yourself and with others; process pain and loss; manage and understand your anxiety and feel empowered and grounded in your life. I approach therapy from a humanist and relational orientation that focuses on your individual strengths. I often help clients with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, family relationships, identity development, work/school-life balance, ADHD/ADD, self-esteem, sexual identity, relationships, and grief. I'm also passionate about helping clients who identify as motherless daughters as well as student-athletes.

Providing a safe and validating space for others is a value of mine. This has lead me to pursuing a Doctorate in Psychology and thus far 8 years of experience. Throughout my training and career, I've always gravitated towards the college/graduate school population. I've especially appreciated working with students on relationships, identity, and self-love. Being a South-Asian, I've also enjoyed exploring cultural/ethnic/racial identity with clients. In a therapy session my approach is inviting, warm, curious, and a grounding presence. I strongly believe clients are experts on themselves; hence my approach to therapy is empowering and encouraging clients to lean into experiences to meet their goals. I like to use the metaphor that my clients are in the driver's seat and I'm there to support them as they explore where they want to go. Along with a multicultural lens, some therapeutic orientations I often pull from are CBT, ACT, and IFS. Gift-giving is important in many cultures and hence the gift I want to give clients is hope, validation, and safety. I also strive to plant the seeds of empowerment and self-love in clients and continue to nurture that together throughout our sessions. I encourage clients to try out various exercises/skills in between sessions to continue to meet their goals. Overall I hope a client leaves our sessions feeling supported, heard, and respected.

In my time working as a counselor, I have helped patients manage and overcome obstacles like anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. From challenges with the overwhelming pressure of academic life, work life, career choices, relationship challenges, and more, I will be there to offer an objective perspective on your situation and provide healthy tips and resources to navigate it. My approach empowers personal growth while always ensuring you feel safe, seen, and heard. Therapy is a great place to talk about life's problems where you can say anything and not be judged. No matter what you’re facing, talking with someone can help. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free space where you feel like you’re grabbing coffee with a friend…a friend who happens to be a licensed counselor with more than 10 years of experience. I work with teenagers (age 14+), adults, as well as couples. Depending on patients’ needs, I utilize CBT, DBT, and Reality Therapy approaches in sessions. Currently, all sessions will be conducted virtually, allowing you to participate from the comfort of your own home and on a more flexible schedule. Let's do this together!
