I'm a licensed therapist who works with first-generation college students, children of immigrants, and culturally diverse young adults navigating the ups and downs of college life and early adulthood. As an immigrant myself, I truly get it—the push and pull between cultures, carrying your family's dreams on your shoulders, feeling proud of your background while also wanting to find your own way, and all the complicated feelings that come with it. Whether you're dealing with family expectations, figuring out your identity, managing academic stress, or just trying to adjust to everything that college throws at you, I bring both personal understanding and professional experience to our conversations. This is a warm, judgment-free space where you can talk about what's really going on, recognize the strengths you already have, and learn practical ways to handle whatever challenges come up.
The goal is to feel seen, heard, empowered, and equipped to take on life's many challenges. The primary populations with which I have worked since 2006 are children, teenagers, and families who have been impacted by abuse and trauma providing advocacy, crisis intervention, and brief targeted interventions. I take a person centered and solution focused approach to therapy. You are the leader in the process, and I am here as a support and resource. You can book me by clicking on my website.
Everyone says you’re “young,” “in your prime,” and living what are supposed to be “the best years of your life”…why doesn’t it feel that way? As you try to juggle school and work and family and relationships, you might constantly worry that you aren’t good enough or aren’t doing this right. You’re lost and burnt out, but also expected to be ‘adulting’...and you’re scared you don’t really know how. If you are struggling with any of these issues, you might be in the right place. My name is Elyse, and I specialize in supporting teens and young adults working through the many transitions of high school, college, and career. My purpose is to create a safe space where clients feel heard, build self-confidence, process their emotions, and work to solve their problems. I work with my clients to figure out the goals and values that are most important to them. Together, we will focus on your strengths and work towards a life where you feel like you are safe, respected, and confident. Making an appointment for therapy can be intimidating, but I am here to help you through the process. I offer a free consultation to discuss your goals, answer your questions, and decide if we are a good fit. If you are interested and ready to make positive changes, please reach out! I am currently serving in-person clients in Austin and virtual clients from anywhere in Texas.
We offer diagnostic evaluation and medication management with psychotherapy for individuals facing ADHD, Bipolar, Major Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Schizophrenia, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Panic Attacks, and other mental health disorders. Hi, I’m Tony, and I offer virtual therapy for college students navigating anxiety, identity, and everything in between. College can feel like both a fresh start and a heavy weight—especially when you’re trying to figure out who you are in a world that often expects you to have all the answers. If you’re feeling anxious, uncertain about the future, or just not quite yourself, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to go through it alone either. In my practice, I work with college students who are dealing with anxiety, self-doubt, identity questions, and the pressure to “get it right.” Many of my clients are exploring who they are outside of other people’s expectations—especially around gender, sexuality, culture, and family. As an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, I create a space where all parts of you are welcome and respected. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, untangle what’s going on inside, and connect more deeply with yourself. No performance. No judgment. Just room to breathe and be real. If you’re ready to explore who you are and how you want to show up in the world, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
I view my role as a therapist much like that of a guide as well as a teacher. I work to help clients build and maintain the necessary tools they already have existing within themselves and lead clients to new discoveries of living life in a more balanced way. Through utilizing existing tools, as well as learning new possibilities of living, clients are able to reach their full potential for prolonged success. The foundational approaches I choose to work from are person centered, and mindfulness based. I also utilize experiential forms of therapy. I specialize in working with life transitions, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, substance abuse/addiction, spiritual identity, and helping to develop coping mechanisms/tools to reduce stress. I work with both men and women, young adults, and adults. Finding the right counselor can be a difficult process. I want to make sure we are going to be a good fit and that's why I offer a free 15min initial phone consultation. I look forward to working with you.

I often utilize a mix of CBT, Attachment, and Neurobiology to help you learn new ways of coping that can be utilized for a lifetime.

My approach as a therapist is simple- I'm here to help you recognize the parts of yourself that you're proud of and change the parts you want to be different. Trust me, there is no problem too big or too small to bring to therapy! My clients have usually included people who have been marginalized by socio-economic barriers, people who have experienced trauma, and those with autism or other types of neurodivergence, or developmental disabilities. Since these issues can make life especially tough in new and different ways during college and the transition to adulthood, I've found that this stage of life can be the perfect time to seek out some help. Although I have a lot of experience working with ages 12-18, I'm also passionate about providing therapy to adults throughout the lifespan. I believe that a comfortable working relationship between you and your therapist is so important for you to fully access your resilience to heal and be empowered to achieve your goals. I'll always encourage you to give me honest feedback to ensure that sessions are supportive and meet your specific needs. Sessions with me will always be judgement free zones where authenticity and vulnerability are highly valued. Whether that sounds well within or far outside your comfort zone, I'd love to meet to answer any questions you have and to see if we might be a good fit. The students I connect with most are often feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of where they’re headed. Many of them are juggling school, relationships, family pressure, and trying to figure out who they are — all at once. They may look like they have it all together, but inside, they're feeling anxious, burnt out, or like they’re falling behind. What they all have in common is a desire for change — even if they’re not sure what that change looks like yet. They’re open to talking things through, getting real about what’s going on, and learning how to take small, manageable steps forward. If this sounds like you, you’re not alone. Therapy is a space where we can figure things out together — no judgment, no pressure, just support and tools that actually make sense for your life.
College can feel like a lot sometimes. Maybe classes, friends, or just life in general feels overwhelming or confusing right now. If that’s where you’re at, you’re definitely not alone and I’m here to help. I work best with students who are juggling a bunch but want to feel more calm and like themselves again. Maybe anxiety or stress is getting in the way or you just want some space to figure things out without feeling judged. When we work together, it’s a relaxed, down-to-earth space where you can be honest and take things at your own pace. We’ll find little ways to help you feel stronger and more confident in what you’re dealing with. If you want someone who gets it and can support you, I’d love to connect.
Life can sometimes throw us into situations that seem impossible to handle. Whether it’s personal relationships, work, or financial issues, it can feel like everything is falling apart. You feel inadequate and powerless as a result, like you can't manage everything on your own. Additionally, you may feel isolated and misunderstood, experiencing shame and self-blame for circumstances beyond your control. It could be a past experience that troubles you, or a current situation that is overwhelming and unmanageable.
Healing starts now! My name is Romy and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas. I am here to support you towards healing and I am proud of you for taking this step. When times get tough, I can help you figure things out or simply help guide you in the right direction. I have over 12 years of experience working with clients who are in college, living with stress, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, relationship concerns, career challenges, self-esteem, domestic violence, sexual assault, intergenerational struggles, and other life challenges. As a Latina therapist, I understand firsthand the cultural pressures to always be the "fuerte" (strong) one, the responsible person of the family, and the constant cycle of people-pleasing at the expense of your own well-being. My therapy style is empowering, accepting, warm, and compassionate. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, strengths-based, DBT skills, problem solving, and motivational interviewing. No matter what issues you are facing, I will ensure that my therapeutic approach suits your unique needs. I work with young adults from diverse racial and cultural backgrounds. I also have a passion in supporting the challenges BIPOC communities face. When we meet you can expect a safe space to explore any life challenges you are facing without judgment. Together, we will honor your roots while unpacking cultural expectations, setting healthy boundaries, and building practical coping skills to help you heal, reclaim your peace, thrive, and increase your overall satisfaction with yourself. I am currently accepting new clients and I look forward to meeting with you.
You’re seeking help because you’re smart, motivated, yet you feel insecure or ambivalent in your relationships. You feel guilty or ashamed, stuck in the same thought spiral day-in and day-out. You’re tired of feeling judged, most of all by yourself. There’s a little voice in your head that criticizes and questions every decision you make. You’re finding adulting to be much harder and more unpredictable than you anticipated. You’ve worked hard to get where you are, but still feel like you fall short. I work young adults struggling with anxiety and panic, grief, trauma, and self-esteem. I will help you find immediate relief from what feels overwhelming, while also exploring deeper concerns. We’ll work to discover answers and collaborate in a deep way to make sense of your experiences, create meaning, and grow.
