Life rarely moves in a straight path, and the transitions, pressures, and losses that come with it can leave you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself. As a clinical social worker and therapist, helping people navigate the challenges that arise throughout adulthood is work I find deeply meaningful. Whether you're managing the weight of a major life change, working through strained relationships, struggling with work-life balance, facing caregiver stress, or searching for a renewed sense of purpose, you don't have to navigate it alone. These experiences can stir up anxiety, sadness, frustration, guilt, isolation, or hopelessness, and that's exactly where meaningful support can make a difference. Together, we work to transform those challenges into opportunities for growth and a more fulfilling, joyful life. At the heart of effective therapy is a strong, trusting relationship, and building that with you is my first priority. Empathy, authenticity, and genuine connection are not just values I hold; they are the foundation of how I show up for every person I work with, because you deserve a space where you feel truly heard and respected, and where open, honest dialogue is always welcomed. As we work together, I draw from evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs, preferences, and goals. That might look like broadening perspective, building resilience, practicing self-compassion, or challenging the thoughts that keep you feeling small. Whatever your path forward looks like, my aim is to be a supportive partner dedicated to your healing journey as you reclaim your sense of agency, practice self-compassion, and deepen your connection to yourself and others. My path to becoming a therapist began with a feeling of restlessness after a trial run at retirement. Reflecting on my life, I realized there was still more to give, just as so many had given to me along the way. Throughout my own journey, the attentive listening and encouragement of others kept me hopeful during fearful and uncertain times. Phrases like "this too shall pass," "one day at a time," “don’t borrow worry,” and "to thine own self be true" became anchors when doubt and insecurity crept in. Those experiences shaped my deep belief in the power of being truly heard. Before this chapter, I spent my career in management and leadership roles at innovative medical device companies, guiding diverse teams through change and helping develop products that improved patient access and outcomes. That work taught me the enduring importance of empathy, trusted communication, and adaptability. Those same qualities now live at the center of my therapeutic practice. In my free time, you'll most likely find me soaking up the Colorado sun with family and friends, hiking, skiing, traveling, or simply following wherever curiosity leads

If balancing academic/work pressure and your personal life is leaving you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or burned out, I am here to help. Many clients I work with enter therapy feeling stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, people-pleasing, or pushing themselves at the expense of their well-being. Perfectionism and self-criticism often make it even harder to slow down or feel satisfied. I specialize in therapy with college/graduate students and young professionals struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, early career stress, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I also work with survivors of sexual trauma and individuals who want to better understand how past experiences continue to shape their emotions, relationships, and sense of self. My approach is warm, collaborative, and values-focused. After working together, my clients often have greater self-confidence, increased insight into how past experiences shape current patterns, and a more compassionate relationship with themselves. I integrate psychodynamic therapy with evidence-based behavioral approaches such as CBT, ACT, and DBT, along with emotion-focused, self-compassion, and strengths-based perspectives. We'll explore practical tools to move forward from unhelpful patterns so that you can live more authentically. I am here to support you in understanding yourself with greater insight and compassion, easing anxiety’s influence on your wellbeing, and building a life that reflects your values rather than fear or pressure. I offer telehealth therapy for busy academic and professional lives. If this sounds like you, I invite you to explore my website and reach out for a consultation. I see clients in Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire, and Colorado. I am also PSYPACT authorized to see clients in 40 additional states. *Note: I am in-network with several insurances in Massachusetts and Colorado, and I am out-of-network in New York, New Hampshire, and in PSYPACT states. I provide a superbill for my clients to request reimbursement from their insurance. Please reach out with any questions; I'm happy to work with you to keep therapy affordable.

In today’s fast-paced world, many people are expected to keep pushing forward while quietly carrying the emotional and physical burden of chronic illness. I am passionate about supporting individuals navigating chronic health conditions and the psychological challenges that often accompany them, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relational distress, and disenfranchised grief. I believe in a holistic path to healing; a path where the mind, body and spirit is embraced in the work that we will do together. I primarily use a combination of IFS, mindfulness, SE, hypnotherapy, CBT, ACT, and narrative therapies. Over the last 20 years I have worked extensively in a variety of healthcare settings including long-term care, hospice, and an acute care hospital setting. Recently, I worked as a medical social worker in the ICU during the COVID-19 pandemic where I supported patients and their loved ones in navigating the unknown. I also have experience in supporting those who suffer from more rare illnesses including autoimmune diseases, multiple chemical sensitivities, mast cell activation syndrome, chronic inflammatory response syndrome, and chronic Lyme. Working in a variety of healthcare settings has provided me with a unique lens into the many needs and adversities that individuals encounter in the US healthcare system. Through my experiences I have seen firsthand how connected our minds and bodies are, which led me to study interventions and techniques that can help manage a multitude of symptoms such as anxiety, pain, GI distress, and much more. I also have additional training in trauma-informed care and am now a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I work hard to find the right combination of therapeutic interventions to meet each individual's needs.

Whether you’re dealing with something specific or just know something feels off, we’re here to meet you where you are and help you move forward in a way that feels right for you.

(Current availability for new clients: In-Person sessions on Tuesdays at 10am, 11am, 1pm, and 2pm; and Virtual sessions on Fridays at 11am, 1pm, and 2pm). Wonton (Professionally trained Therapy Dog) & I are so excited you've found us! Are you curious about Animal-Assisted Therapy & connecting with an enthusiastic, loving, compassionate, 8-year-old, yellow lab? It can feel really isolating to struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and/or addiction. On top of that, it can be challenging to connect with people who understand that experience without judgement & can offer appropriate support. Therapy Dogs offer a very unique type of support for mental health: nervous system regulation, somatic processing, grounding skills, relationship skills, general improvements in mood, etc. Wonton & I have been a partnered therapy team since 2018 & we offer a warm, non-judgmental approach to facilitate the challenging work of therapy. We utilize a combination of therapeutic modalities such as Animal-Assisted Therapy, along with CBT, DBT, ACT, Trauma-Focused, & Solution-Focused specialties to support young adults/adults. After my family experienced something traumatic and we went through our own grief and healing journey (ongoing), this experience helped me to relate to a broader range of folks who were also hurting. I became a mental health professional because I love connecting with people and want to help them navigate unique and challenging circumstances. I am passionate about partnering with people who are choosing change and healing in order to discover more about themselves, grow, improve their quality of life and relationships with others. Prior to working in the mental health field, I worked as an Administrative Personnel at a University in Colorado for over 10 years and supported undergraduate and graduate students which allowed me opportunities to witness the unique challenges that students experience. If you are struggling with the stress of meeting new expectations, adjusting to college environments, managing your course load along with other adult responsibilities, trying to find your identity as a young adult, struggling in your relationships, having homesickness, and/or managing an illness(es), then you are not alone in this experience. If you are ready to choose change & healing in order to discover more about yourself, grow, & improve your quality of life & relationships with others, then Wonton & I would love an opportunity to connect & partner with you!

A Stoa Therapy provider. For most families, finding a qualified speech-language pathologist means long waitlists, limited local options, and clinics that don't take their insurance. For adults navigating a voice disorder or recovering from a stroke, the barriers are just as real. We built Stoa Therapy to solve that. By delivering care over telehealth and working directly with insurance, we connect patients across Virginia, Colorado, Illinois, and Louisiana with SLPs who have specialized training in exactly what they need. The result is care that's easier to start, easier to sustain, and genuinely effective. Get matched, visit: https://stoa-therapy.com/

LET’S BE HONEST: Existing between worlds is exhausting. Co-existing in multiple worlds and cultures doesn’t come with a roadmap. The competing demands and expectations leave you feeling tugged in opposing directions, and you’re left with the feeling that no matter how hard you try, you’ll never be enough for anyone. Even though there are many people in your life, it feels like nobody from any ‘side’ really gets you, and you’re not sure where you truly belong. You’re tired of facing microaggressions when you’re out and about and obstacles to advancing at work. All this is impacting your relationship, where you’re struggling to communicate and feel a sense of togetherness across the divides.

Virtual Sessions Only! Hi! I'm Stacey. I work with students who are experiencing anxiety. I have worked in Mental Health for over 20 years. I love working with college students! I like to describe myself as your mental health accountability partner. We often know the things we need to be doing to keep on top of our health and wellness, but it's easy to get off track. That's where I come in. I teach you self awareness and how to add daily habits that will help you overcome your anxiety. I give weekly homework (don't worry, it's easy and fun) to help you learn how to manage your anxiety daily. I like to empower my clients by teaching them how their bodies work and how to hack their own nervous systems so they can live a calm and relaxed life. I use an Integrative approach and also offer Hypnotherapy. I offer free consultations. I hope to hear from you!
