Therapists for college students near Boulder, CO
I am most passionate about working with people who have experienced a difficult childhood. If you’re struggling to have healthy relationships with others or control uncomfortable emotions like anxiety, depression, and anger, I can help you navigate these feelings and offer a path forward. My clients often feel stuck or held back by the weight of these experiences. As your therapist, I will collaborate with you to create a safe environment where you can explore and understand these complex experiences and how they may impact your life today. My style of practice is warm, compassionate, and receptive. I believe that you are the only expert on your life and I will do all that I can to be a useful tool as you move towards shaping the life that you want. My approach is a combination of cognitive processing therapy, strengths based, and mindfulness based techniques. We will focus on discovering your strengths and using those as guiding principles as we navigate the journey together. If you’re interested in scheduling a consultation or appointment, please send me an e-mail or give me a call.
Hello! My name is Brandon and I have been in social services/mental health for about 9 years now. I have had a lot of success with young adult clients and adult clients looking to empower themselves but are maybe held back by ADHD, anxiety, depression, low self-worth, relational issues, people pleasing, addiction, religious trauma - and much more! If I were to sum up my job to a few words, it is to empower you to live the life that you want! The relationship that we build together is super important to me as well, and I am good at building rapport with clients instead of being a "therapy robot". So, how can I help? I have built a reputation of being a straightforward and honest therapist, meaning I will challenge you, point out certain contradictions in thought patterns, push you to be more aware and mindful of problematic behaviors, validate your emotional experience, and explore your past to find reasons of certain behaviors you now struggle with. I'm a big music nerd who loves concerts and I play a couple of instruments. I really enjoy nerdy things like fantasy/sci-fi movies, shows, books, video games etc. I am also quite active and like to ski, mountain bike, enjoy the outdoors, and I like most sports overall. I'd love to invite you to call or email me if you think we'd be a good fit!
Hello, my name is Blake. I’m passionate about connecting with individuals who are navigating complexities in life, particularly those who may be feeling overwhelmed or struggling in silence. In a world that often portrays an idealized version of success and happiness on social media, it’s crucial to acknowledge the realities many face behind the scenes. Sometimes, we feel lost inside our own bodies. Life can become a whirlwind, leaving us feeling like we’re falling behind or that certain aspects of our lives are lacking. I am committed to fostering a supportive, trauma-informed environment where these conversations can take place. I have found success in using several modalities in treatment such as CBT, DBT, and ACT to fully foster a connection to therapeutic success. I invite you to reach out and connect with me. Let’s navigate this journey together, one step at a time.
Do you find yourself feeling like your plate is overflowing? Are you spending a lot of your time worrying about things that are out of your control? What might it be like to live a life where you are present, calm, and don’t feel pulled in a million different directions every single day? I believe, together, we can help build this life you imagine. I specialize in working with adults who struggle with anxiety, stress, and life transitions. Maybe you’ve dealt with stress and anxiety for as long as you can remember, or maybe it is something that has stemmed from a specific situation that recently occurred. Your body holds the wisdom to heal. As a body-centered, mindfulness-based psychotherapist, I blend practices from the East and West, evidence-based interventions with spirituality, movement with introspection. I work with highly sensitive, empathic clients to help them build healthier relationships, let go of substances and patterns that no longer serve them, improve self-esteem, find freedom from anxiety and depression, and come home to their bodies. I believe in the healing power of embodiment to help my clients recover. In my work, there is always space for vulnerable moments, profound realizations, uninhibited emotions, and very often, deep belly laughs. As a fellow traveler along the path, I understand profound loss and trauma. With an extensive background in substance abuse and trauma treatment, I get that mental health challenges can take over your life. Using a holistic and tailored approach, I will work with you to treat the underlying causes of substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and other symptoms of trauma. As a body-centered psychotherapist, I take a “bottom-up” or “embodied” approach to trauma-focused modalities, including EMDR. I also offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy for additional support in treating treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, C-PTSD, and other trauma symptoms. If you want to break free from the symptoms of trauma, begin a healing journey, or simply improve your overall well being, I’d love to help you get there.
Currently accepting both virtual and in-person clients - Hi there! My name is Lindsey. I primarily come from an attachment-based, relational approach, where what matters most is genuine, authentic connection. A story well told is my favorite piece of the human experience. We all have stories full of what happens to us that is outside of our control as well as how we respond to these experiences that is within our control. As your therapist, my hope is to empower you to become the author of your own story and provide you with the support, guidance, and resources you need to pick up the pen and decide where you're going next. I particularly specialize in: ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders. I also work with those struggling with their relationships and/or challenges coming up in life (including but not limited to: school, work, navigating 20s and/or 30s, interpersonal struggles, dating, family dynamics, life stressors, identity development, and values work). I find it to truly be an honor and privilege to be right beside you as you navigate whatever challenges life throws at you. Reaching out for support can be a difficult step, and you are brave for how far you've already come. Feel free to send me a message on here or schedule your own phone consult on my website!

Originally from Chicago, I moved to Colorado to pursue my Master’s at the University of Denver, which confirmed my passion for social work. Before opening my private practice, I worked extensively with survivors of intimate partner abuse, individuals in recovery and couples in crisis. This experience provided me with deep expertise in attachment therapy and reinforced the vital importance of trauma-informed care. My background has shaped a clinical approach rooted in curiosity and a drive to understand the motivations behind actions. This perspective allows me to serve my clients through relational lens, focusing on meaningful connection and growth. If you choose to work with me, you will find a collaborative environment defined by non-judgment and openness. Regardless of your goals, your identities, or where you are in your journey, it would be my honor to support you and your loved ones. I look forward to being your advocate as we work together to reach your goals.

“The real warriors in this world are the ones that see the details of another’s soul…they are the sensitive souls that understand that before they could be a light they first had to feel the burn.” -Shannon L. Adler. I too, identify as one of those sensitive souls (HSP), and am excited about working alongside other real warriors in an often insensitive world. As a fellow adoptee as well, I can relate with those who may have experienced this grief as well, and the trauma often surrounding that. Through Brainspotting, Nuerofeedback, CBT, and some integrated approaches, I’m excited to begin working at this practice and help others through these various modalities. Even if you don’t identify as a HSP, I’d love to work with you and help you through whatever difficulties you may be experiencing. I’m most passionate about nature and the outdoors, so aside from offering normal in office therapy, will be offering both virtual sessions, as well as walk and talk therapy. Nuerodivergents, and those with sensitive nervous systems are amongst populations I love working with.
Welcome! I know from my own experiences as well as the many clients I have worked with over the years that therapy is an important pathway towards growth and healing. We will create a space where you can be open, expressive, learn new ways of seeing yourself and the world, new ways to cope with the challenges of life, and create new paths to relationship. We work together to bring wholeness, connection and a rediscovery of your strength and purpose. I am sensitive to the parts of our selves that make us unique, which includes different expressions of gender, sexuality, culture, socio-economic status, ethnicity, race, political ideology, religion, LGTBQIA2S+ identity, and intersectionality. I use mindfulness, my own therapy and consultation to help me address bias that might come up in my work. I partner with clients with an orientation towards social justice, honoring difference and our own deep knowledge of ourselves and our needs.
