Our approach encompasses a diverse range of therapeutic modalities, including internal family systems (IFT), solution-focused, grief, narrative, acceptance and commitment (ACT), and cognitive behavior therapies (CBT). Beyond our commitment to traditional counseling, we recognize the pivotal role of personal development coaching in fostering essential skills needed to accomplish identified goals. By seamlessly blending counseling expertise with coaching principles, we empower our diverse clientele to effectively manage intense emotions, overcome obstacles, and develop the competencies needed for personal and professional success.
Are you feeling strangely absent from your own experience, as though you're moving through life on autopilot? I work with people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, exhausted, disconnected from themselves and others, or uncertain about the life they want to be living. Let's slow things down and take a look at what keeps you stuck, noticing what’s been happening on repeat and what shifts when you begin to respond differently. This work is about making more space for presence, connection, and intentional living. Your body holds the wisdom for healing, and my role is to support you in reconnecting with your innate capacity. Together, we expand your capacity to feel, access inner resources, and experience greater ease and connection. We work with what’s happening in your body in real time, supporting embodied shifts that align with who you are now. If this resonates, it often means something has been running in the background for a while without much space to look at it directly. Let's begin to bring that into view together. Reach out for a complimentary phone consultation to explore if working together feels like the right next step. I am currently working under the direction of Dr. Sophia Aguirre and supervision of Carrie Gensler, LPC, CPCS in pursuit of advanced licensure as an LPC. I am currently in the first year of a three-year Somatic Experiencing® (SE) training program and integrate SE principles into my work.
The process of starting or reentering counseling can be overwhelming but a brave step towards improving your wellness. I honor that step by committing myself to meet you where you are, sit with you in whatever emotion arises, and offer you a safe and relaxed environment to discuss your concerns. As your therapist, I will work with you to collaboratively create a road map to greater health using our alliance and therapeutic tools along the way. We will work together to identify your goals, beliefs, and assets; process life stress; and empower your life for greater wellness, however you define this. I offer Cognitive-Behavioral, Mindfulness, Exposure (ERP), Strength-Based and Person-Centered services for adults and young adults, addressing symptoms of anxiety, OCD, stress, life transitions, relationships, and ADHD. Through my Masters and Doctoral work as well as my background teaching and supervising Master's level clinicians, I have created a therapeutic approach that is not only centered around YOU, the client, but incorporates practices that are backed by scientific evidence. It is my greatest desire to use what I know to see you grow and live the life you want.

Under directed experience and clinical supervision Do you sometimes feel disconnected from the people you care about, even when you want closeness? Are old patterns or coping strategies getting in the way of the relationships or life you are trying to build? I believe we are all wired for belonging, connection, and intimacy. When life experiences disrupt those instincts, it can leave us feeling guarded, uncertain, or stuck repeating habits that numb pain but create new problems. I work with teens, adults, and couples who want to rebuild trust in themselves and their relationships, especially when issues like addiction, trauma, or communication breakdowns have gotten in the way. I also have a strong passion for supporting men as they navigate identity, emotional expression, and connection in a world that often discourages vulnerability. In therapy, my role is to help make what feels unclear more understandable. I listen deeply, bring steady nonjudgmental presence, and help you look at both your strengths and your struggles without shame. While change is collaborative, I will walk alongside you with direct guidance, practical tools, and reflection that supports sustainable growth. My approach blends humanistic and person-centered foundations with CBT, DBT, narrative, and Gestalt techniques. Together, we can explore the stories and patterns that have shaped your relationships, process grief or trauma that may still weigh heavy, and build real-world skills for emotional regulation, confidence, and connection. Whether you are coping with depression, anxiety, addiction or substance use, relationship stress, or significant transitions, we will create a path forward that feels meaningful and achievable. It’s an honor to support people as they uncover more clarity, balance, and resilience. I offer a grounded, respectful space where you can reconnect with what matters most and take steps toward living and loving with more freedom and less fear. If you’re ready to explore whether we could be a good fit, I invite you to reach out for a free consultation.

Together we will be able to work together to improve your relationship with food and your body. There is so much confusing nutrition information out there these days, so let me help you debunk the myths and create a relationship with food that fits YOU. I address anxiety stemming from social, school, and family dynamics, providing the necessary support to navigate these changes. I assist in the transition from college to career, including complexities in dating, family, and work, offering a safe space to explore self-identity and achieve life goals. We will collaborate using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy. What does this mean? It means we will identify the false scripts keeping you stuck and create a new storyline where you are the main character shaping your life. In my space, every uncomfortable feeling is accepted, and every question is worth asking. Whether you’ve never sought counseling before or have been in therapy for years, I believe my approach is unique. My goal is to empower you and watch you succeed. So, let's connect and collaboratively rewrite your narrative.

It can be one of the most difficult steps to make that first phone call for therapy. Typically, we are making that call when life feels the most stressful or when we are feeling at our most vulnerable. I strive to support the courage, strength, and determination involved in seeking support. Described by clients as caring, supportive, and warm, I believe each person possesses innate skills and strengths that can be utilized within therapy. I value strengths-based, person-in-environment, cognitive-behavioral, and motivational therapeutic approaches to support each individual’s intrinsic worth and value. I love working with adults, couples, and families to explore difficulties in coping emotionally, breaking the cycle of addiction or substance use, balancing life stressors, establishing self-esteem, setting healthy boundaries, and maintaining healthy relationships. I strive to help you find your voice, offer new coping skills, and explore presenting concerns within a non-judgmental and warm environment. Think we might be a good fit?
