Are you stuck? Overwhelmed? Unsure of who you are and what you want? My style is compassionate, intuitive and direct. I offer an empowered approach to healing. I empower you to become a conscious co-creator of your life. I use my own life experiences to assist you in shedding shame and getting unstuck. I use tools, education and workshops to empower and enlighten you. I view symptoms as a sign one is out of alignment with their truth, rather than as a symptom to be treated. When we were not mirrored properly as children, we get stuck settling for less than we deserve in our life, work + relationships as adults. Emotional neglect erodes self-trust and lowers self-worth. I help you clear the lens you see yourself through.

The pursuit of mental health wellness, recovery or personal change can be a hopeful and fulfilling endeavor. However, pursuing change can equally feel anxiety provoking or outside of one’s comfort zone. This is particularly true when change may mean altering or letting go of thoughts and behaviors that have felt protective or familiar. It is expected that one may enter into therapy with mixed feelings about the process and desired outcomes. It is my intention to partner with individuals at any stage of readiness to better understand her needs and develop a unique plan of treatment specifically tailored to meet those needs. My therapeutic style is empathetic, supportive, and direct. I incorporate humor and laughter whenever possible. I offer an eclectic blending of approaches, including Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness training, Strengths-based, Solution-focused and Cognitive Behavior Therapies. While I treat a wide array of issues, I maintain a primary focus on the treatment of eating disorders, women's issues, anxiety, depression and supporting students transitioning to college. Contact me directly to explore whether or not I may be a good fit for your needs.

Have you been in therapy before or are you new to mental health therapy? My goal as your therapist is to meet you where you are at and move together towards the changes you would like to see. I pull from a variety of different styles to address your goals, including skill building, CBT, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed care approaches. I hope to foster a space where you feel seen and heard and where you are able to take care of what has brought you to therapy (or back to therapy) in the first place. I offer weekly, bi-weekly, or, in some cases, monthly sessions at 45 or 60 minutes in length via telehealth. All sessions start with a phone call where we 1) make sure I am the right fit for you, 2) verify your insurance or payment method is active and all set, and 3) schedule you an intake and an ongoing appointment time that works for your schedule. I return all calls and email requests for therapy services and hope that I may be of help to you at this point in time or, at the very least, be able to point you in the right direction.

I work from a place of genuine curiosity and respect each person’s path as unique. I take a warm, supportive, and collaborative approach, using the information that you present (or, in some cases, avoid) to help you make sense of the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that may be undermining your relationships and productivity.
