There comes a time when we all need support in remembering who we are. So many of us have learned to shrink, perform, or lose ourselves in order to belong. This can leave us feeling disconnected, lonely, overwhelmed, or unsure of who we are beneath the roles we've learned to carry. You may be thoughtful, capable, deeply feeling, and exhausted from carrying so much. Many of the individuals I work with are highly sensitive, often therapists, healers, helpers, and cycle-breakers, longing for deeper authenticity, secure attachment, meaningful relationships, self-trust, and a more wholehearted connection with themselves and their lives. My approach to therapy is warm, relational, holistic, and depth-oriented. Together we explore patterns, wounds, relationships, and nervous system responses keeping you stuck while helping you reconnect with your authentic self. I integrate attachment-based therapy, mindfulness, parts work, and somatic awareness to support healing and healthier relationships. Healing often begins when we no longer feel the need to hide who we are in order to feel loved, accepted, or safe. Therapy can become a space to slow down, breathe, reconnect with yourself, and begin creating change from the inside out. You do not have to navigate everything alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you in the process.

When life goes differently than anticipated you may be left grieving, feeling disconnected from life, or from yourself. You deserve to have a compassionate space to process and honor your experiences. Together, we'll explore the narratives woven through your life, understanding how past experiences continue to shape your present reality. We will reconnect you to your power, build resiliency, and learn to use your voice to live your life more authentically. With a relationship built with trust and compassion, you're invited to explore your deepest truths, express your fears, and bravely write a new story for your life. Therapy is a collaborative journey, and your voice, experiences, and perspective are central to our work together. Depending on your needs, we'll examine how family, gender, culture, and social expectations have influenced your sense of self, relationships, and aspirations. I draw from a variety of frameworks including Feminist, Narrative, and Family Systems. Reaching out is hard. If it scares you, you're not alone. You may try considering if your fear is saying "now's not the right time" or if its something more akin to "what will this change in my life". Curiosity, excitement, & the adrenaline of taking "the next step" can feel scary. Whatever you decide, trust you're right on time in your own journey.

I specialize in working with students in college, educators, people in helping professionals, and young parents. My clients desire someone who can support them in their goals, who listens well, and sees them through a holistic perspective. My clients understand that healing is a process and desire to live a wholehearted life but often feel stuck or find them repeating patterns they can't break. Often people that contact me are in need of support, skills, and a space to navigate the stress and unexpected things that inevitably come in life and partnership. I have been a school social worker for many years, so I bring my experience to help you navigate your life and professional transitions. I approach clients with a person-centered, strength-based, holistic approach. I can help facilitate communication with your partner and help you increase your insight and understanding of yourself. I offer a non-judgmental space with the goal of empowering my clients to guide themselves to health and wholeness. When you are ready and willing, I would be honored to walk this part of your life with you. You can contact me through my website (theflourshingco.org/contact-us) or give my office a call. I look forward to our work together.

I consider it a privilege to help people process their experiences, empathize with them in their pain, work to improve their relationships and help them make positive changes. I am a generalist in training (worked with couples, adolescents and adults), but specialized in Emotion Focused Couples therapy, EMDR (evidenced based trauma therapy), Christian psychology and cross cultural workers (missionaries, pastors, and missionary kids/adults). I personally love more depth oriented, emotion-focused work, but I will help you decide what approach works best for you! Having grown up overseas, I am part of the Third Culture Kid tribe. For the past four years, I have worked with people in cross-cultural ministry. I am trained in Emotion-focused therapy which has been seen as the most effective approach for TCK's. I am also trained in EMDR for trauma and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy for relationships in distress. If you are looking to gain insight, sleep better, trust yourself more and have better success in ALL your relationships including the relationship with God and yourself, now is the time to start! Please email or call me to talk about what it looks like to start.

Living in your body may feel exhausting, unfamiliar, or even unsafe. Trauma, relationship harm, health changes or chronic illness, and struggles with body image and eating can leave us feeling disconnected and stuck between overwhelm and shutdown. I offer a warm, grounded presence where you can feel seen and begin cultivating a deeper sense of self-trust and wholeness - a space to explore lived experiences and learn supportive wellness practices. I work with busy students who are carrying the weight of stress, trauma, and grief while navigating immense transitions and responsibilities. Many of my clients are healing from sexual violence, emotional relationship harm, chronic/invisible illness and health-related changes (migraines, endometriosis, PCOS, POTS, cancer), and concerns around relationship with body and food, including disordered eating. I've supported students and young adults for over a decade, with many years of experience working in a college specialty counseling clinic. I use a mind-body approach that blends somatic (body-based), cognitive, and mindfulness practices including Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT Tapping). This helps us understand ourselves with compassion, cope with emotional overwhelm and physical body discomfort, heal from trauma, and reconnect to relationships and activities that nourish us. I find great joy in serving multicultural and multi-faith communities while providing a weight-inclusive, culturally-affirming, and trauma-informed space where all parts of you are welcome.
