We offer professional strength-based therapy and supportive services to clients and encourage personal growth and healing. Our services are designed to enhance the client's ability to make positive choices for themselves and help empower them to meet their goals. We specialize in providing mental health treatment and team collaboration to those 14+ with eating disorders. In addition, we supervise those becoming certified in the field of eating disorder counseling. Though treating people with eating disorders is our specialty, we are happy to treat other mental health challenges. Soon after we began our careers, we quickly realized the need for professionals that specialize in eating disorder treatment. We gained and maintained our Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and Supervisor (CEDS-S) qualifications through The International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. We understand that life can be challenging but given the right psychoeducation, support and tools, people have the power to change their lives. If you are considering teletherapy, we encourage you to reach out and we can see if working together can help you meet your goals. We are now accepting new clients age 14+ for telehealth only.

"Empowerment cannot exist without accountability" We can reshape our story and take back our power by choosing to heal. I would love to work alongside you to reshape your story into one that is worthy of you. Goal driven therapy, is a deep passion of mine! I am an EMDR trained licensed mental health counselor with experience treating: depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and trauma. As a Black woman, I am aware of the emotional distress caused by systematic oppression often inflicted on people of color and marginalized groups: I address these experiences with compassion, sensitivity and honesty in session. By building a supportive therapeutic relationship, along with using evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and Mindfulness: I assist clients with learning to manage their emotions, effectively communicate, build healthy relationships and achieve self-acceptance. I know finding the right therapist can be a challenge, but I encourage you to see it as an investment in your Wellness, so if you are considering working together the next steps are scheduling free 15-minute consultation call to make sure we would be the right fit. ( Please note I do NOT treat children or couples)

I’m a good fit for students who get trapped in their head—overthinking everything, replaying conversations, second-guessing decisions, or feeling like they can’t relax unless everything is “handled.” You might be high-achieving, but constantly stressed, exhausted, or scared of messing up. Sometimes that turns into procrastination, avoidance, or feeling numb. In therapy, we’ll focus on helping you calm the mental noise, handle stress more effectively, and build confidence in your choices—so school and life don’t feel like a constant emergency.
For twenty years I've had the privilege of working with clients like yourself, helping them to find solutions and to work toward a more manageable and enjoyable life. Its my experience that providing a genuine, non judgmental, empathetic and caring environment are the most important factors for positive change, as well as an encouraging treatment that is tailored to the individuals unique strengths and resources. Every person has their own unique way of working through their problems. I try to apply what I know to fit your unique self. Its my job to provide the experience in a way that enables you to progress while honoring your individuality.

We work best with students who feel deeply and think a lot. Many of the students we support are navigating major life changes, identity questions, relationship challenges, or the pressure to succeed while feeling like they are falling behind inside. If you have ever felt like you are carrying a lot beneath the surface or trying to make sense of big emotions and experiences, you are not alone. In therapy, we create a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and build the tools to move through life with more self-awareness and confidence.
Dr. Zeleyka Fowler has extensive experience working with individuals and groups of diverse backgrounds. She uses holistic and integrative approaches to therapy and works with people to cultivate wellness through the exploration of their identities, fostering emotional awareness, highlighting healthy ways of managing relational conflicts, and coping with emotional distress.
I utilize a variety of modalities to assist you in working on the issues that are adding stress and suffering to your life. My hope is to help you learn more tools and strategies to address the issues that you may be struggling with in a more effective way, so that you can feel better sooner. My job is not to tell you what to do but to help you figure out what your options are and decide what choices you feel most comfortable with. I am supportive and empathetic while providing action oriented strategies that you can use outside of session.
Welcome! My work focuses on helping you overcome beliefs and self-sabotaging behaviors that stem from difficult relationships and experiences throughout life. I recognize that our "bad" choices often arise from issues with our sense of self and self-worth, which we will explore and understand in our work together. My approach to therapy encourages you to embrace the freedom to be yourself, letting go of who or what you “should” be. I offer a warm and non-judgmental environment where you will feel heard and respected. I never tell you what to do because I trust that you know -- you just need to parse through some of the noise to get there.
